I think Love Takes Time and Can't Let Go are two of her strongest ballads (even if she admitted the latter is a re-hash of Sent From Up Above). It's such a shame they were never big in the UK, so now they weren't included on this compilation and the only people I know who even know those songs are Mariah fans.Comment

Album has entered the UK Album Chart at #17.
Although it's climbed 7 spots from midweek, I'm not expecting it to climb next week due to strong competition and strong new releases, but it should stay consistent, Top 25 at least.Comment

Nice to see that The Ballads is doing so well.
It would probably have done even better if songs like We Belong Together and Don't Forget About Us had been included though. Hopefully IDJ, Virgin and Sony can work together one day to create an amazing Greatest Hits package.
