This could have been her Something to Remember but it had the weirdest track listing ever. It should have focused on the Sony and Virgin ballads.

    1. Hero
    2. Love Takes Time
    3. My All
    4. Can't Let Go
    5. One Sweet Day
    6. Thank God I Found You
    7. I'll Be There
    8. Anytime You Need a Friend
    9. Vision of Love
    10. Endless Love
    11. I Don't Wanna Cry
    12. Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)
    13. Reflections (Care Enough)
    14. Butterfly
    15. Against All Odds
    16. Never Too Far

Mariah Carey - The Ballads (15th Anniversary Edition)

A concept by JeremySpears. Tbr in 2023.

Disc 1 (the tracklist I know):
    1. Hero
    2. Vision of Love
    3. Without You
    4. Always Be My Baby
    5. My All
    6. How Much
    7. Dreamlover
    8. Thank God I Found You
    9. The Roof
    10. One Sweet Day
    11. Anytime You Need a Friend
    12. I'll Be There
    13. I Still Believe
    14. Reflections (Care Enough)
    15. Open Arms
    16. Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)
    17. Endless Love
Disc 2 (Tracks included on other versions of the album):
    1. Can't Let Go
    2. Love Takes Time
    3. When You Believe
    4. All I Want For Christmas Is You
    5. Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)
    6. Open Arms
    7. Butterfly
    8. Never Too Far
    9. The Roof (Mobb Deep Extended Version)
    10. Always Be My Baby (Mr. Dupri Mix)
    11. Anytime You Need a Friend (Ministry of Sound Mix)
    12. Always Be My Baby (Always Club Mix)
Disc 3 (Anniversary edition bonus tracks):
    1. We Belong Together
    2. I Want To Know What Love Is
    3. With You
    4. Bye Bye
    5. Portrait
    6. Looking In
    7. You're Mine (Eternal)
    8. Through the Rain
    9. The Art of Letting Go
    10. Out Here On My Own
    11. We Belong Together (Mimi's Late Night Valentine's Mix)
    12. New song
No one can repeat the storytelling genius that is disc one but I tried my best with disc three so all the songs on there are there for a reason. I'll be here to answer everyone's questions.

And Mariah gimme a call if you see this so we can discuss all the details.

(You treated me kiiiiiiiiind) For the first time: Mariah Carey - The Ballads (sweeeeeet destinyyyyy, dreamlover come rescue me, and then a hero comes along). One CD with 18 ballads. Soulful, powerful, uniquely Mariah. (I'd give my aaaaaaaaaall) The greatest solo artist of all time brings you some of the greatest ballads of her career. Mariah Carey - The Ballads.

It's very common. I was just looking at just how many compilations Michael Jackson has. It's insane.

    A marketing ploy.

It's crazy just how many compilation albums she has, often with no new material and not even new covers. It's great this is a solid mover in her catalog though.
It's time for a new GH starting from Loverboy onwards.
They should have released that before she moved back to Sony!

...so will sales of this count towards The Ballads total in the UK? or will it chart/count as a completely separate album? :-?
