  • I love the remix... It sounds like a Lana song finally

    • I'm not crazy about this...but I still can't wait for the album though. **goes black to bopping to Serial Killer**

      • Looks like the song wasn't a fan's favorite instantly judging by your comments... I don't remember my first reaction regarding the song, but of course, it definitely was a harsh break from the 'Born To Die' sound. 'West Coast' is much edgier and calmer, but lyrically, it continues the American Lolita motif that was already present on her debut album. The faster verses and the slow chorus compliment each other very well, quite surprisingly, and even though it's not your average radio hit, I think it's very catchy and ended becoming one of my favorite songs of hers. My mother dislikes it, but probably only for the fact that I've been singing it for a big part of the last 5 years. Was she influenced by The Neighbourhood's 'Sweater Weather'? Sound- and moodwise, they have quite a bit in common. It's close to perfect, so I'd proudly give it a 9/10 .
Is it offensive to fall in love with you and everything you do
        and everything you stand for?
Could I break through your invisible wall, could I hide my pride for once,
just to tell you that I see more?
