  • Avicii - Lay Me Down (feat. Adam Lambert & Nile Rodgers)

This is the fifth single from True. It will be serviced to Australian radio on Monday.

    AVICII
    LAY ME DOWN
    (PMAM/UMA)

A number of commercial radio programmers have been waiting for an official service of this track, and its not hard to see why: Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers - who's enjoyed an amazing career resurgence since teaming with a certain pair of French robots - ad a sultry swing that's been missing from Avicii's previous, dare we say, country-tinged singles. This song is officially at radio on Monday, but we've already seen a few cheeky pre-service additions, so expect to hear this tune over the weekend.
Great choice. This has been a fan favorite ever since it premiered. And thank god he's releasing something not so folky this time around!

this. "Dear Boy" is the best track left on the album. I would love to see a single edit for it.

Anyway, "Lay Me Down" as a single was another obvious choice.

Dear Boy can stay where it is, don't want to hear that crap on the radio. This one is much better.

I just played this and thought to myself 'this is the least annoying Adam Levine ever sounded' and then realized it was Lambert

I love the version on the Avicii by Avicii remix album, is it a different female vocalist or have they just distorted the vocals?

The "Show me Im the one, Tell me Im the one" bit reminds me of Girls Aloud "The Promise"

To be honest this is definitely a grower compared to their other material.

This is coming fast now in Australia, already #34 on iTunes

I like this more than "Addicted To You" and also a bit more than "You Make Me". Should be another sure hit and one of the summer hits 2014!

The Chorus part is pretty much sounding like ALCAZAR's disco themed songs ;)
