I'm not familiar with the original version of the song, but the Rich Morel Edit is really good. She has to be the coolest 78 year old around!

All she needs to do right now is to release the remixes of this. I'll definitely buy!

What? Surprised you're not more open-minded given you like Crystal Castles, Japanese Popstars, Ladytron etc. Shame to see you fall into the "slag Yoko" camp so easily.

That White Ring song on my chart you like (cause i know you do)? Wouldn't exist without Yoko.

One thing is I can't stand The Beatles and all the hype about their music - that's why I've said it's great that she's caused their split.

I've also checked her music and for me it's simply nothing special. I suppose, for some acts like mentioned CC, she might be the inspiration, but surely it's not my cup of tea, even if I love CC music.

Well, itīs a bit unfair to the Beatles.

For Yoko, I think her "music" is barely listenable. Remixes like this make it sound ok.

That leads to a big question, how does the "club chart" works????

Certainly, if you go to a typical club tonight you are much more likely to hear many other songs that are not charted there, and Iīd say your chances of catching a Yoko Ono song there is rather small...

It seems that everyone who flops everywhere else can achieve a hit on the Dance Club play chart.

And other artists like Madonna and Janet are a lock for a #1 with anything they release.

And 8th single from a Madonna album which was unofficially sent to a few radio stations... thatīs enough for a Dance Club Play #1!

Finally got around to hearing it, amazing as expected!

Shame to still see ignorance in here and from people I wouldn't expect, this is the original Move On Fast, how is that crap!? :-?

It's darn crazy amazing if you ask me!

It's just an opinion, hardly ignorance. There's always going to be people disliking music.

This thread is life. Bar that remix randomness just mentioned this is probably the most bearable song from Yokz I've heard though.

It's a great tune! Really punky and euphoric, love Yoko's music, people should really give her a chance! :(

In that Move On Fast clip that Bill linked [the original?] I can hear so much Beth Ditto! The Dave Aude mix that Tony linked in post one is excellent.

Dave Aude recently remixed Tammy Wynette's Stand By Your Man and it sounds superb - great remixes all round!

Yes it is the original it was released on her album "Approximately Infinite Universe" in 1973. You do like it?

Yeah, its decent - I do prefer the remix, mind! She has a highly distinguishable vocal delivery, does Yoko!

Listen, I don't dislike Yoko anyway; I especially think that its extremely immature to slag her off about The Beatles split!

                                      She does!

Once you've got used to her style, you'll love her!

The thing that annoys me is that people seem to think she gets her tracks remixed because the original stuff is no good, it's so incorrect!!!

Glad you like her, I agree it is really immature and ill informed to slag her off all of the time.

Yeah I did lol. I like the instrumental, though I can't really seem to warm to Yoko's 'vocals'. The horn section and breakdown after it is probably the best part.

Oh OK, glad you listened, her music is electric for me! Something different, her vocal style on these kind of tracks are perfect for giving the song character. ;)
