Listening now as I'm too excited to wait til my copy arrives
'i' is fantastic, great progression, and for some reason I'm finding Say It Out Loud really touching.
I have a feeling this will be in the same league as Marina's Family Jewels and Little Boots' Hands for me!

Not going to listen to any leaks/clips/performances etc. I want to wait till I have the album, but it's really hard
The interview on BBC Breakfast was fantastic. She comes across so well now.
Stick & Stones is also such a beautiful and touching song It's just unbelieveable that people were calling her ugly in the beginning. And not only people on the internet, but also real journalists! She was only 16 back then. How can you call a 16 year old girl ugly in a newspaper that millions of people read?without any meaning, we're just skin and bones

Just found this:
Alan was great. I performed Lucky Day on the show, and I pre-recorded Yo-Yo, which is gonna go out in November. I absolutely love performing Yo-Yo, it’s my favourite one to do. Yo-Yo was supposed to be the first single; it was the first single in my mind for a long time. But then at the last minute it felt right to go with Beat Of My Drum. So I feel really close to Yo-Yo. I feel like I lose myself when I’m performing it.without any meaning, we're just skin and bones

I hope we get a finished version of Dance The Rain as a B-Side.

The album is fantastic. If this will flop, i'll be really angry. The production is flawless, so brilliant! My favourites are Fish Out Of Water, Everybody's Got To Learn Something, Say It Out Loud and Sticks + Stones. The rest is pretty great too.
And Gladiator sounds like a hit, it could be a single!

I really didn't like the album, it's really not my thing at all!!! Downloaded it just because I liked porcelain hear when beat of my drum first released, and I think yo-yo is nice and strong single material, I think thing would've been different with her if she released it first.

Love her vocals and lyrics, but have massive problems with the arrangements and hooks of most of the songs. "Beat Of My Drum" was such a quirky and genius track, I thought the rest of the album would have lived up to its promise, but only "I" seems to have got things down pat. The album as a whole is a pleasant listening experience, but aside from 2 or 3 tracks, everything else is standard pop with occassionally interesting and/or innovative bits thrown in. It's a lot like a Sophie Ellis-Bextor record in my opinion. Strong, enjoyable, but nothing revolutionary.Stan of: Devendra Banhart / Taylor Swift / Grimes / Utada Hikaru / Tori Amos

It's gonna take weeks before my copies arrive so I listen to the album online today!
I love that everything on the album sounds so personal!
"Say It Out Loud"I didn't expect something like this will make the album! The part towards the end is orgasmic! Probably my favorite track right now. The song just makes me feel like i'm going through a soul cleansing or something!
<3 It just makes me feel so good!
I love that she sounds spooky in some of the tracks like the middle 8 of "YoYo" and the "Cinderella are you happy?" part of "Cinderella's Eyes". "i" is probably the most refreshing part of the album and I guess that's why they placed it halfway through the record. "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometimes" sounds more like an interlude.
"Fish Out Of Water" is so different! "Take A Bite" reminds me of Santigold. I love the rap!
"Gladiator" contains the most fiercest lyrics!"If my balls of steel have got stuck halfway down your pipe, i've got some KY.. time to open, open, open wide!"
