I did! My copy arrived this morning, was a little surprised because I didn't get any email notifying me it was shipped.

I didn't get time to listen to it yet but annoyingly the new songs aren't tagged at all. Just Track 01 Track 02 etc

That’s annoying! I haven’t bought it because I literally have no way of ripping it, but I’m very tempted to just buy an external disc drive for this. I feel that might be my weekend task

I mean I wouldn't doubt her telling the truth about Polydor being a mess with licensing. also I don't doubt plastic pop records is trying to make the album go top 10 with 5-6k or something in January lol

Plastic Pop Records albums don't count towards the charts so that's not going to happen, unfortunately!

She said in the comments she got the license to sell on CD 2 days ago hence the recent announcement. I can't believe they originally wanted this to be vinyl exclusive.

Sales tactic - sell the higher priced item first. Though Nicola didn’t take too kindly to such accusations on Instagram

I’m all digital, not even my work PC has a disc drive nowadays.

I would like that too. If not then sell it digitally through her official site or something.

After listening to the snippets she posted, most of them sound even better than a good chunk of the album. The original Dragonette version of Lucky Day sounded amazing and it sucks they had water it down to the version we ended up getting.

Fingers crossed we get all the bonus tracks on streaming. Even CD would be nice. Don't know why it has to be vinyl only because I don't think the quality would be good if we try to rip it.

The demo snippets she’s posting on Instagram are all pretty great. I really hope they come to streaming. I suspect they might, otherwise why tease the snippets now? I don’t think the physical release has a release date does it?

I also wonder if this is a ‘test the waters’ project to determine how much of a fanbase she still has as a solo act. She should be able to take the pre-order volume and work out how to turn a profit on album #2.

With album sales so low I’m genuinely interested to see where this ends up in the charts.

Unfortunately she won't be able to chart, as Plastic Pop Records is apparently not registered for the official charts, same happened with the Sophie vinyls earlier this year.

It could definitely be a test to see how much demand there is for her, and how much interest there could be for a new album. I feel the Sugababes used the same method with their One Touch re-release.

This looks like such an amazing and well organised release, loving all the different bundle names as well. Now it's just too hard to decide which one to go to, I am so excited for all the new songs but sadly they won't be available on streaming
