This was my favorite album of 2014. I enjoyed it so so much and still do!

KMO had some exciting songs for me but some others were mediocre at least...

Nowadays, i still listen to If Only (the most well-written song of the record imo), Fine & KMO...
At times, i listen to "Into The Blue" and "Sexercise"...

Aphrodite was so much better... in that record i only skipped "Better Than Today"... At the time, i thought she would never release another awful track like that one but then "I Was Gonna Cancel" happened... I REALLY hate these 2 tracks...

YES!! It's not a popular opinion, but I can listen to it from top to bottom! This was my second Kylie album after Aphrodite and although I like both, I do skip some tracks on Aphrodite

Anyway, gonna listen to this album today and I'm looking forward to what she has in the making now!

Kiss Me Once (song) is so good, and she killed it live.
This album could have been amazing with a better selection; Took me time but I think some of the songs are really strong.
Just needed the right push.

There's a simple rule about Kylie: the title tracks of the albums are always brilliant but they are never being released as singles. :evil:

This album had the potential to be so much. I really wish Skirt was a part of this album. Had this album been released in 2013, I think it would have been quite different. And honestly, they should have saved Timebomb for this album as the lead.

Then, she could have released an album in 2015 with the lead single If I Can't Have You.

It's kinda sad that I like the b-sides more than the actual album. To me, the album could have done without Sexy Love, Million Miles, I Was Gonna Cancel, and Sexercize. The thing with Sexercize, is the cheesy lyric itself. The musical direction was on point, but I would have rather had a serious "sex" song, than a cheesy tongue-in-cheek play on words.

Nah Into the Blue was the wrong choice to lead. They tried to do another ATL and it wasn't good . TBH her whole single choice was just bad.

She needed to lead to with either Les Sex or Million Miles.

But I guess we will always have different opinions and what is done is done. Here's just praying that this time, they get it right.

Listening to this again today. It had great potential in my opinion but they handled it wrong.

I think this album could've taken 2 different directions. Either a more sexy pop one or a moody, electronic pop one.
Here's my single release for both of these.

The first one:
Tease Video for Skirt + download release
2-3 weeks later the official first single release with Les Sex
2nd single Feels So Good
3rd Million Miles
and finishing off with Sexercize

Second direction:
First single : Fine
Second single : Feels so good
3rd : Sparks
4th : If Only or Sleeping with the enemy

I am so unhappy by the fact that Sparks wasn't part of the standard edition. In my opinion, they could've have chosen so many different songs to be singles and create a whole theme around the album but they messed up unfortunately.

Regardless of this, I still love this album and can't wait for Kylie to come back this year!

I still rate" Into the Blue" as a really good song and can still enjoy listening to it, I agree "I was gonna cancel" is a very weak song, poor choice for a single and marked a massive step backwards for Kylie, it should never have made it onto the slbum

Into the blue is a kinda weak song and I was gonna cancel is a good song, but not for a single, so overall I did not like the single choices for that era

This album was simply dull, generic and bland.

There's no song I like to hear again. Everything is listenable but there's not a single song which is outstanding.
The single releases can't be blamed for the album not being that successful. Kylie was simple not as good as she used to be. The quality was not there.

Personally, I have never been a huge fan of her albums in the first place but she really got me with "X" and "Aphrodite". That's why I had huge expectations when it comes to "Kiss Me Once" but I got disappointed big time.

Btw, "Timebomb", Skirt" & "Flower". It's so strange that her singles close to this album were that brilliant

It was a shame that after edgier music inbetween this and Aphrodite, this album turned out to be mainly vanilla.

Timebomb and Skirt should have been single one and two for KMO, and released in 2013. I have always thought this.
