I agree. Adele is the perfect artist to have a back to basic show as it's the type of show fans would expect anyway.

What has happened to Adele? I remember she always had touring anxiety I mean I understand that but then why you are stalling this, just cancel the whole thing if she doesn't wanna do it. Absolutely weird behaviour from her side.

I understand her not giving dates at this point, because having to cancel or postpone again would be disastrous for her image, but to say “definitely within this year” when the year isn’t even two months old is not very helpful.

Ugh I don't know what to think - she says definitely this year but no dates really announced. Still leaning toward refund.

So… no further news on this? If not, that is really messed up and the least she could do is offer refunds for traveling costs. I know she doesn’t have to (legally), but to cancel at the very last minute with some rather questionable explanation and still no indication whether there will ever be some replacement dates is not a good look on her and her team.

I think she'll postpone the whole residency as Keith Urban is taking her place there soon.

Agreed, it definitely hasn't got to do with Covid but with what happened 'behind the scenes'.

I think producers have these shows insured so they definitely recoup funds/losses, so I dont see why fans shouldn't be able to as well.
There is an option to get a refund on the tickets. The deadline to refund them is Feb. 19. I think what's really unfair is they still have no plan a week later as to when the new dates will be held, so people can make that decision. Supposedly she wasn't ready - how much longer did she need? I realize that finding a similar three month block was always going to be a challenge, but Adele's team needs to be open about that process. It's disrespectful to the fans otherwise.

I know reports from these gossip sites are exaggerated, aren't credible, or even real but it definitely doesn't add up that COVID was the reason for postponement. I don't think they've been transparent at all.

She seems more arrogant to me this era. I don't know if it's the success or her weight loss got in her head.

I’ll be disappointed if the rumours about her behaviour are true, she’s always come across as still relatively down to earth considering the money and fame she now possesses.

I remember in 2011 she cancelled shows and some shows were on the day of the concert. I remember a show at Cardiff being cancelled a few hours before and she wrote a blog to say that the show wasn't going ahead because of her voice issues.... but like, could have cancelled sooner rather than 3-4 hours before she was due on stage. Then the cancelled Wembley shows were last minute too. And now cancelling Vegas shows the day before. Fans would be much more forgiving had they been given notice so they can get hotel refunds etc. I understand it's not always possible but these last-minute cancellations have been a pattern over the last decade and when you factor this in with things like cancelling her 2008 US tour because she wanted to see her boyfriend, it does seem disrespectful and out of order to the fans.
Well she has also done a lot of shows. Unfortunately Adele has a very fragile voice, and she does not lip a single note on stage so it is inevitable that she is going to have issues sometimes. Vegas aside, which was a mess, she only cancelled due to extreme vocal issues, and that is part and parcel.

Maybe she shouldn't tour at all but limit her live appearances to occassional performances in selected talk and award shows. It seems like she doesn't like the big halls and that's fine, but she shouldn't trick her fans like that.

    Vile behaviour.

She thinks all will forgive her if she posts a video with her strong, London accent. She really plays up to being a hun who loves wine, just like all ya mates. Fake.
