Amazing performance, she killed that climax belt.
At the end the musicians were like OK Adele lets move on lol

Yeah as a vocalist myself, I love all that too, I actually prefer raw and live performances but I still prefer to see it as opposed to just hearing it.

I struggle to see how the setlist could have been different on the cancelled show too, but it would be interesting to see any differences.

Considering she’s just stood singing, I always think Adele is the kind of artist that should swap one song every concert - she could literally sing her entire catalogue in Vegas.

I wonder if the show will be released as a live album?

Omg yes. So much better than the album version. They over produced her there.

Well, excluding intros, there are 20 songs and 5 of them come from "30". I think that's fair enough. Pity Can I Get It is not a part of it (yet). Anyway, the setlist looks (almost) perfect to me.

I know the Vegas show isn’t the ‘30 Tour’ but I’m just surprised at how 21 heavy it is that’s all, especially when she could have swapped a couple of them for a couple of songs from 19 and balanced the setlist more. She’s singing all but three of her singles from her career - it just feels odd not to at least include:

    Spoiler!

Unless she plans to mix the setlist up a little here and there over the course of the run.

IMO she sings all the songs from 30 I would love to hear live

    Spoiler!

It looks more like a greatest hits tour type of setlist rather than one to promote one specific album. I could be wrong, but I feel like '30' won't be an album she'll return to often in the future, apart from maybe 'Easy On Me'.

    Vegas begun.

    Setlist:

    I can’t believe she’s singing more of 21 than 30

Really surprised she’s only doing the one song from 19 and not even the big one.

Well, it certainly confirms my decision to refund the tickets! I think I worked through all my emotions when I refunded my tickets, so I don't even feel angry about the interview. If anything, I just feel relief. I suppose it's nice to get a real reason why the residency was postponed because we all knew it wasn't COVID once it was clear it wasn't being rescheduled immediately. It also confirms the rumors I dismissed in January when she originally cancelled.

Thankfully, I'm not out any money - I hadn't bought plane tickets yet because I was booked for her final show. I used my refund to buy plane tickets though - I'll be going to Hawaii for the new year

So what I’m getting from her explanation is that the original show concept was too overproduced for her liking and she wanted a more intimate setting.
How on earth is THAT a reason for cancelling at the last minute?!
Adele, honey, if you wanted to sit on the edge of the stage and unplug your mic you could’ve done that. Easily.
I mean, yeah, you would’ve wasted the time and effort of everyone who worked on the show, but now you did just that AND lied to and disappointed your fans, most of which had to make expensive travel arrangements to be in Vegas at that time.

And she honestly feels “brave” for doing that?

Lol at the postponed shows most likely being nothing more than a mic and a light, which was exactly what people suggested she should have done on the original dates instead of postponing. It certainly doesn’t take months to set that up.

I used to love her personality, but not anymore, I guess.

The fact that she clearly lied “which was evident from day 1” is just really rude and gross… “she’s brave” for canceling? Please, brave would have been performing even if you didn’t 100% believe in it cause your fans have spent thousands of dollars and travelled from around the world to see you the next day.

She used to come across really well but the last year something has really changed.

So she basically lied and the whole COVID-19 excuse was bullsh*t. That's so disrespectful towards her fans!
The song was totally ready to go, but her ego decided to cancel last minute. She could've at least done the first couple of legs and changed the show throughout the run, if she wasn't happy with its concept. How are you going through months of conceptualising and rehearsing, only for you to change your mind and cancel at the very last moment.

I don't get why she keeps talking about this. Because with every interview she makes herself look worse and more unlikeable.
Exactly! She said it was a brave thing to do, but i completely disagree. It was very unprofessional. I am really concerned she's ruining her legacy but i hope I'm wrong.

As she’s become a bigger star, I’ve definitely observed a change in her - and that’s fine, but this interview with Elle doesn’t do her many favours really.
I was actually speaking more metaphorically - we all travel roads we didn’t expect to take and become versions of ourselves we couldn’t imagine.

    The one with Oprah too.

When she was talking about her training and she stops and goes " Im an athlete " Like I was waiting for her to burst out laughing and say she was joking and I think Oprah was too.. but the fact that she was 100 percent serious. I mean Adele please.
