The cheapest I can see now is 141 for the 6th Dec... AXS has just converted some platinum to normal tickets for the 15th, 17th and 18th in block 102 and 103 for £280 and 106 and 107 for £225.
Tbh just imagine the concert starts, lights go all out. You hear a clock ticking, then the « time goes by so slowly » starts and echoes everywhere becoming more prominent. Then the instrumental of 4 Minutes slowly starts (you know that instrumental at the very beginning of the song) and it gets louder. And all of a sudden the lights go on, the stage looks amazing, all the dancers are set and then she appears and the heavy bass of 4 Minutes starts and that’s the first song she performs. I’d be GAGGED.
Tbh no matter if she or fans hate that song now, this song would BLOW UP the venue and everyone would be super pumped for the rest of the evening.
4 minutes? I mean there are elements to the song that I think work live. It loved it on SnS but... to kick everything off? It'd need a touch of her magic to remix it and give it some new life. The 'if you want it come and get it' line falls so flat for me.
4 Minutes didn’t hit as hard as it should have on S&S for me. I love the song but Madonna has never been able to bring it to life live (not even with Justin), making me think she should probably shoot a new video with JT and have it as an interlude. Even if JT doesn’t want to do a new video, there’s plenty of outtake footage - some of the unedited rushes are on YouTube:
Shes never brought Like a Prayer to life on tour for me either. Visually she knocks it out of the park but sound/vocally I just dont get the same feeling as I do when I hear the album version.

The Sticky and Sweet version is forgettable/bad but the song is clearly one of her biggest hits. The instrumenral hits hard. It could easily open the show but she would have to make the performance stand out.
To be honest, Madonna can make any song be the opener and knock it out of the park. This is the women who opened a show with Drowned World. Even Erotica was a subdued opening especially with the Kenlou B remix and yet it worked
you’re right though. I was watching the RH your recently and she makes me love Iconic. It’s the most athletic part of the entire show, she is doing all sorts of tricks it was … iconic.

for me during re-invention and Madame X - LAP was magical.... just magical.

These (and BAT) sprung to mind too. But the best version I ever saw was on RHT for World AIDS Day. I posted it recently, the whole place was just loving life.
I have to say, I don’t understand the love for the album version. The best version is still TIC. Same with EY.

I have to disagree. I personally love the album versions of both. I love the production it fits both records better than the remixed versions and they have more nostalgic energy. I can totally see why others would love the other versions but there's something... quintessential Madonna-like about the OG versions, for me.
Is anyone going to the London Madonna fan-party after the tour?
When I became a fan it all started with GHV2. After falling in love with it I then got my hands on a copy of TIC, and then gradually began buying all her albums. So unlike all you old timers, I fell in love with the remixes first
I have to say though, the remaster I’m looking forward to hearing the most is the LAP album. Warner were fools for not doing it in 2001 alongside her first three.

I think we are around the same age. I was barely in high school when GHV2 came out. I knew the remixed versions of both songs before I found the OG versions. I love them all but the OG really take me back to that time for HER as an artist. I hear the horns in EY and I am taken back to I'm Breathless, I hear the OG LAP audio and I see the late 80's personified. The video, those flames, the colours, the intensity.
If only Madonna could act as well in her movies as she did in her videos.
Madonna seems to like it. She even sung it with the audience during a soundcheck on MDNA, she put it on FEL50 instead of one of missing #1 singles and I’m sure it almost made it onto the setlist on one of her tours over the last twenty years (I forget which).
If she does it instead of Everybody I’ll be pissed though. Not that I think these posts are proof of a setlist - it’s just social media teasing.
