  • "Clumsy"? That's like her worst song of her entire career. I hope she ditches it for Europe and perform a different song instead.

So which songs has she added? Which songs doesn't she perform anymore?

Clumsy is a bop. And it can't be the worst song of her career when Britney Jean and half of Femme Fatale exist. The performance is good too.

      1. Work Bitch
      2. Womanizer
      3. Break the Ice / Piece of Me
      4. ...Baby One More Time
      5. Oops!... I Did It Again
      6. If I'm Dancing (Interlude)
      7. Me Against the Music
      8. Gimme More
      9. Clumsy
      10. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)
      11. Scream & Shout (Interlude)
      12. Boys
      13. Do You Wanna Come Over?
      14. Get Naked (I Got a Plan) [Interlude]
      15. I'm a Slave 4 U / Walk It Talk It
      16. Make Me...
      17. Freakshow
      18. Do Somethin'
      19. Circus
      20. If U Seek Amy
      21. Breathe on Me
      22. Slumber Party
      23. Touch of My Hand
      24. Toxic
      25. Stronger
      26. (You Drive Me) Crazy
      27. Till the World Ends

I Love Rock N Roll and Everytime were removed. Glory has the most songs outta all her albums now!

      • Clumsy, seriously?

She has so many great songs on Glory and in her discography and she chooses that trainwreck? Gurl bye. I hope she replaces that song for the European leg.

        • "Clumsy" was a weird choice but I guess she loves it, its so Britney. Wasn't "Clumsy" the most acclaimed song on "Glory" making the Rolling Stone list and everything?

Anyways .... Just like I said the show is pretty much "Piece of Me part 75", same aesthetics, same outfits, but she added performances for "Change your mind (No seas Cortes)" and "Clumsy" and she added "If I'm dancing" as an interlude ... In addition of performing "Do you wanna come over", "Make Me" and "Slumber Party" ..... Thats means 6 "Glory" songs now belong to the Tour. Its like a Glory mini Tour.

I'm glad she hasn't forgotten about "Glory".

          • So after last night's Tour start.... These are her most performed albums on her Tours:

            1. In the Zone - 10 songs
            2. Femme Fatale - 9 songs
            3. Baby One More Time - 8 songs
            3. Britney - 8 songs
            3. Blackout - 8 songs
            6. Oops I did it again - 7 songs
            7. Circus - 5 songs
            7. Glory - 5 songs
            9. Britney Jean - 3 songs

LOL ..... Why is "Britney Jean" ALWAYS her least at everything? ...... Her lowest reviewed album, her most disliked, her least promoted, her lowest peaking album, her least performed, etc ..... Its always last LOL

            • I hope the production will be a bit bigger for the European leg of the tour when she's doing arenas. Like where are the props? And what's up with this basic entrance? They couldn't even get the stairs?

It's clear she hasn't rehearsed much because the dancing was very messy last night. Though we know Britney usually isn't the strongest on first nights and improves a lot over the next shows, so that gives me hope. But all those ponytail touching/fixing is so unnecessary. I wish she would stop putting her hair in a ponytail like that. Also what's up with the choreography for Change Your Mind? They shouldn't let Britney choreograph things because it's literally all weird spasm movements, like she does in her Instagram videos at home.

On the positives though, she looked really beautiful and her meet & greet pics look amazing. I'm happy for her and the fans that she seems relaxed doing them. Also I like how she wore a beautiful dress for the meet & greets and they actually put effort into building a setting for the photos. Her lips also look much better now.

She's doing really small venues in the US. I don't think it's possible for them to bring the full set including the wings she uses for that song. Maybe in Europe.
                Sounds logic !
I hope she still ditches Stronger & Crazy the most
Fans on music forums that have seen the show a thousand times may not like Crazy or Stronger but it's a highlight for casual fans. Taking them out would get rid of two classics.

                  I agree with you.

I don't think all the props will be there tho (It's likely going to be treated like the Asian Shows). But you European guys should feel very excited because we all know her first date / first few dates are never her strongest so the fact that she will perform a dozen of shows in America first will serve as a good rehearse and indicator that she'll put the best shows from this tour in Europe.

And yeah she does look beautiful and it seems like she stopped abusing with the lips-injections, she will also look even better in Europe because she always improves her shape when she's mid tour.

This just proves how much she loves "Glory". It's a greatest hits show that's been ongoing for nearly 5 years, and she still managed to fit 6 songs off the album.

Some people thought she'd be cutting "Do You Wanna Come Over" or even "Slumber Party" for the tour, only for her to add two more songs off the album.

Of course it will be. For starters, she's bringing the catwalk to Europe, and the whole stage with the stairs and everything. Even if they tried, there's no way they could fit much inside this tiny ass theater. It's literally half the size of the Axis which is already small to begin with.

I know this sounds messy but I see this run of East Coast shows as rehearsals for the European leg. She did okay last night, albeit very sloppy at times, but she will be much more on point in Europe.

Rehearsals for the European leg lol. Well it does kind of seem like it.
Though I must say that I saw a video of Break The Ice from last night and she slayed the chorus there. So it's definitely in her.

Yes I know there will be a catwalk in Europe, I'm happy about that. I just hope they consider actually bringing props like the stairs for the intro and the spinning thing for Scream & Shout etc. Hell maybe even the angel wings for possibly Everytime (even though the song got cut). They didn't bring any of those to the shows in Asia. Asia basically had the same show they're doing now but just with a little bit of a bigger stage.

She has big sponsors for this tour now and her tours used to be massive productions, it would be a shame if she would bring a really cheap show to Europe after all these years.

Having said that, I know I will have fun at the show regardless. Her songs are just amazing and just being in the same room as her, seeing her up close will be amazing. Just wish she and her team would step it up.

                            • USA TODAY: Britney Spears is back on tour and you better believe she's here to work

                              You better work, Brit.

The Beatles said "Let it Be," Bruce Springsteen was "Born to Run," Gloria Gaynor preached "I Will Survive," and Drake has his philosophizing "Motto."

But it was Britney Spears who inspired us to work.

Five years after "Work B**ch" became #goals, and a little more than 19 after her first headlining tour, Britney's back and working harder than ever. This summer, she's taking her "Piece of Me" show from the Vegas strip to more than a dozen cities in North America, Europe and the U.K.

The tour comes after an immensely successful stint in Sin City, where her "Britney: Piece of Me" show earned $140 million after four years and 250 ticketed performances. Last year, she commanded the highest ticket price of any Vegas production show -- $855 for all the VIP treatment. It became one of the most successful Vegas residencies of all time, particularly with a much-sought-after younger crowd.

That type of success isn't built on nostalgia alone. The pop icon works like she's made those famous 2013 lyrics her personal ethos.

Her first tour stop Thursday night at the MGM National Harbor Casino outside of Washington, D.C., made a Britney-themed Soul Cycle class seem like a walk in the park. The sold-out 90-minute show was a non-stop ride -- a whirlwind of turns and squats and her signature arm waves.

She covered 25 songs, all hits, with only brief interludes that were surprisingly entertaining and could have lasted longer to give the 36-year-old more of a break. At times she looked like a marathoner, obviously conserving energy on a downhill segment before bursting into a complicated sequence.

Here are the highlights from the opening night:

                              Work B**ch

The perfect opener, Britney set the stage with her energetic anthem, emerging in a green fur coat that was quickly shed before she got down to business with a smoke-filled floor routine.

                              ...Baby One More Time

Save for a few tweens, no one in the crowd Thursday was that innocent, Britney included. So the decision to avoid the naughty school-girl vibe was wise. Brit came out in wings in front of a red and black screen with a gothic, Tim Burton vibe.

                              Scream and Shout / Boys

To be a true icon, one must acknowledge the iconic moments, as Britney did Thursday, uttering those three little lines from the beginning of her 2007 song "Gimme More" and Will.i.am.'s 2013 single: It's Britney, (expletive). The medley also got an expert laser and neon treatment, and at the end of the mini set, a quick routine to a Missy Elliot trio that could have been a full segment unto itself.

                              I'm a Slave 4 U

Another intelligent update? Swapping snakes for a little pole dance. Bondage imagery on the background screen added to the sexy scene without being too much. And a quick take on Migos' "Walk It Talk It" brought the set into 2018.

                              Freakshow

Who needs gimmicky audience interactions when you can bring an audience member on stage, put them in a leather harness, and have Britney Spears walk them like a dog? No one.

Circus / If U Seek Amy

The overall effect of the stage design, costumes and choreography made this segment one of the best, and put Britney where she belongs at the center of the stage. She's a put-on-a-show kind of girl, after all.

                              Toxic

In another clever reinterpretation, Brit came out in an apple-red bodysuit with a glowing green jungle background, a sensuous Eve tempting her audience. And they were lovin' it.

She could never cut Do You Wanna Come Over from the tour its one of the highlights i think. She looks beautiful and very relaxed in the meet n greets.
As the guys said above, the European shows are going to be awesome as she will have improved and got her groove on.

Somehow, the clumsy performance was not bad at all. It was not top notch choreo but she was feeling it, and her energy was up there.

                                                • Billboard posted a review of last night's show. It's a very nice read and they praised her.

Five years ago, Britney Spears took a gamble with a Las Vegas residency. Once thought to be a realm best occupied by vocal dynamos like Frank Sinatra or Celine Dion, Spears’ roll of the dice as a pop princess in the desert paid off handsomely, with 248 shows netting rave reviews and $137.7 million. And even though the residency is over, this chapter of her life isn’t quite closed -- she's taking a tweaked version of Piece of Me on the road in 2018, and this weekend (July 19-21) it touches down at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ -- which, despite being 2,5000 miles from Vegas, is the closest tour stop aesthetically to where Piece of Me began.

Bringing Piece of Me back to a casino/hotel town seems to suit Britney; on Friday (July 20) night, the pop icon looked invested, comfortable and even happy throughout the nearly 30-song set, trading smiles with her backup dancers and miming goofy faces at various moments (like when she fakes passing out from exhaustion at the end of “Piece of Me”). Despite having endured a 102-degree fever just days ago, the 36-year-old pro didn’t show signs of sluggishness -- there were ponytails twirls and awe-inspiring hair flips aplenty, so much that you wished there were a drag queen side stage to provide an emphatic tongue pop after each one.

Spears took the stage wearing a top hat and coat; both were promptly discarded, with the hat sailing into the audience and the shawl shrugged off to flaunt her toned physique -- which, as anyone who follows her on the ‘Gram knows, is toned like she’s prepping for the Olympics. Opening with “Work Bitch” and “Womanizer,” the show’s charming, campy choreography is (aside from her plethora of pop hits) its strongest suit.

Toward the end of the show, there’s a cute moment in “(You Drive Me) Crazy” when -- as a nod to “The Stop! Remix” from the 1999 teen romcom Drive Me Crazy -- Britney shouts out “Stop!” and the music comes to a grinding halt. “Ready for one more?” she asks. The rhetorical question is met with a roar of affirmation, and the crowd is rewarded with an energetic, confetti-filled “Till the World Ends” that includes a concert-wide sing-along to the “woah-oh-oh-oh”s and a brief reprise of “Work Bitch.”

When Spears left the stage on Friday night, the lights were quick to come up -- for a show this tightly plotted, there ain’t gonna be no impromptu encore no matter how turnt the crowd gets. But even without the audience clapping and screaming for more, the electric love for Britney Spears after the show wrapped was palpable. After all, it’s 2018 and Britney Spears -- the greatest survivor in 21st century pop music -- is still on her game, seemingly satisfied, present and comfortable in her skin and legacy. And for fans who’ve spent the better part of their lives gunning for her success, seeing her in person is nothing short of a pilgrimage to nourish the pop lover’s soul.

I've been watching videos of the tour and she keeps getting better and better. Much better than opening night. I can't wait for NYC tomorrow and Europe in two weeks.

Hey Instinct. I was going to comment the same, I've noticed that she's stepped it up and has been improving on each date. She was sloppy and quite messy during the first 2-3 dates but its always like that with her shows, she then gets it good. I guess the European shows will be the best ones.
