Here are the nominees for...

First post of the year was me announcing the thread getting nominated last year for this awards

Conversations about a new album were always around, until 30 dropped and activity accelerated.

This is Adele's second nomination in a row here.

The year started with KEY9481 praising Bey's 2020 recap video from her website. An Adele feat was discussed, Grammys record setting night, clothes and B7 expectations.

Another year with JeremySpears kicking off the Britney thread! 2021 will always be rememberd as the year she regained freedom. We will see what she does with that in 2022, only bright things ahead!

The year started with likeidogoldlink post. A lot of new music expectations were shared, and eventually the wishes acme true as Xtina released a couple of spanish language tracks, surrounded by argentinian artists Nicki Nicole and Nathy Peluso.

jio opened and close 2020, but it was upushme who welcomed 2021! It was a cool year for her, releasing her MX Paramount special and working on her book/movie or anything she has been teasing! In the meantime, a lot of attitude and family throughout the year! This is Madonna's fourth nomination in a row in this category. She won in 2019, even grabbing the Thread of the Year title and becoming the only Artist thread so far to get that recognition!

bm08 & banksy

This year we saw Mimi's second thread closing, and giving birht to her third installment, this time hoste by bm08. she started the year atop the charts, and ended up the year right at the same place... all 30+ years into her career. AMAZING!!! Lambs are spoiled, and she released a brand new christmas tune and a beautiful rendition of GOAT.

This is Mariah's fourth nomination in a row. She won this back in 2018 and in 2020!

Second year in a row with Dua Lipa & aRat nominated here! This hit-packed album definetly consolidated Dua as one of the top pop artists of this generation!

Kylie Minogue :: DISCO Era ( Thriller )

Second year in a row with DISCO / Thriller nominated here! They took home the award in 2020, will they repeat? Kylie has a lot of supporters as Golden also won back in 2018!

Lady Gaga :: Chromatica Era ( nympho )

Every year we had a Gaga album nominated here! Joanne, Star and Chromatica, that repeats the mention here... but no wins. Will this year break the spell?

Mariah Carey :: Christmas Eras ( AutomaticBR )

Third year in a row with Xmas competing for the award! It took home the trophy back in 2019 when AIW reached the top spot in US. Will Fall In Love... help her get this for a second time?

It's a first time for Spartan in this category! UKMIX was eager for Eurovision after one year off, and this survivor helped soothe the beast.

[Survivor] Songs in French ( Carbon )

A fantastic nomination here with such a good selection of songs! It's the third year in a row that carbon sees one of his great survivors ending up here, folowing 2019 Scrapped Lead Singles and 2020 2010s Jukebox... will this year see him win?

[Survivor] Synthpop: The NEW ROMANTICS - The Survivor ( trebor )

A personal fave! Not because I jumped in and finish it when trebor couldn't keep it, but becasue it was a fresh spot in the games setion, with amazing music and great discoveries for me. This is trebor's first nomination in this category.

[Survivor] The Ultimate 2000s Survivor ( Thriller )

Thriller's fourth year in a row with one of his survivors getting nominated here. In 2019 the 1990s edition took home the prize, will this repeat?

[Survivor] Women in Rap Survivor ( cheapthrills )

And cheapthrills open and close this category! A cool concept that got a lot of attention and spread a not so popular genre in ukmix!
