Just realized the reason behind the drop in points was a change in the calculation of the Points/view!
Activity around the forum was not that far from june. With 1 day more (31 vs 30) we should have seen a +3% growth but instead got +1% in Replies and -6% in Views, meaning the activity was slightly behind but not terrible... But as I revised the formula (I do it a couple of times per year) now more views equal a point and that's why the -6% drop in that metric represented much more impact to some threads, specially Mimi that gets a massive number of views bt now are less powerful than before (still it's a factor though)

Really pleased to see the Olympics thread open in the top 3. Nice that the Grammys thread is already high in music discussion and that Mimi Rate ended in the top 3 as well!

JSparksFan holds atop as it crowned Rihanna as the top artist of the last 2 decades. bm08 amazing Mariah Discography Rate ends its run crowing We Belong Together as top song and Butterfly as top album! It's been a great ride, thanks bm08! Thombus also had a great ride, and recently crowned Natalie Imbruglia's Torn as Top Debut Single, much to Britney's fans dissappointment. The countdown made all the way to #3!

Three countdowns made it all the way to the second half of the chart, led by JSparksFan Fav Artists, followed by Thombus Debut Single and then bm08 Mimi Discography! This means we have FOUR Mariah related threads in the top20!

This month we had 1 additional day, so we should have seen a +3% activity. All in all its a pretty stable month, with Miscellaneous growing big pushed by PopTalk and Personal Cahrts also growing above expecations. On the contrary, Games fall as Eurovision Survivor ends, and even when Mimi and Women's Album are doing great. And Entertainment sees a new decrease after Eurovision is completely done.

Mariah holds atop but decreasing. Remember that from now on Views weight less in the total points. But still the gap is considerable... PopTalk increased considerably it's view count!
The biggest news here is to find a Survivor in the top20. Lat month Eurovision Survivor became the first Survivor of the year in this list, landing at #14, and now Mimi does its thing at #13! But be advised: next month the Thriller 2000s Survivor looks like setting record breaking numbers!!! Go games!!!

- So yep, despite the change in formula, the views gap keeps Mariah atop! Still PopTalk gets a massive number!
- The highest charting survivor I remember was #4 for 1990s Survivor. Mimi misses the mark by just one point! Still a great month for Survivors with two top6! And I think in August we may see new records from Survivors!
- I'll have to check the formula as it's wirde that Madonna is higher than US BB charts, as the second have more replies and views! But it's something to do with the fact USBB Series is in fact the add of different threads and not just one. And as this rank really doesn't matter I'll just leave this pending check for next month
- Mariah Discography Rate ends it run and finally cracks in the top20!
- Highest new entry belongs to the Olympics at #23
