Click your profile top right hand corner.
    User Settings.
Select “Account” from the drop down menu.
Scroll down to “Conversation Detail Options”.
    Select “Edit Post Signature”.

By the way, we have a Help section that explains all of this if anyone ever wants to get a potentially quicker answer - see here: https://www.ukmix.org/help#community...s_topics_posts

You can select from the drop down menu or search key terns (e.g. “signature” would bring up the relevant help).

    • Is there a way of putting a member onto the ignore list, but still being able to visit their topics? Because I tried to put a member onto the ignore list but all topics made by them were gone for me then, and that kinda sucks because they started some topics I'd still like to visit / post in.

Unfortunately not - I had this same issue flagged to me by RayRay.

The effect of the "ignore" is to completely hide the post - and the software doesn't distinguish between the opening post of a topic or any other post (so by virtue of hiding the post, the topic is hidden if the person you're ignoring created it).

The topic is still accessible if you have the link saved.

I'm going to raise this with the good folks over at vBulletin to see if there's a fix - doubtful though.

        • ^ Thanks for the fast reply! I already expected that this wouldn't work, still thought I'd ask.

Guess I don't put them on the ignore list then and just try to be calm every time I get upset by a post of that member

I usually just upload to imgur, and then link to that using the IMG tags.

I think you can upload attachments also, but I've found it's harder to see the image that way.

I think you should be able to once you've made 10 posts. That rule is in place because we've had spam accounts in the past flood the system with new threads.

Looking forward to your personal chart and welcome!

Welcome to UKMIX! cheapthrills is absolutely correct - however, I have made an allowance for you now that we know you aren't a spambot and I've fast-tracked your "promotion" to the next usergroup which means you should be able to create new topics.

                    • Hi Wayne , I get error messages whenever I try to post, although when I refresh the site, the post was made. But I cannot update names of my threads.
                      • Invalid SQL: SELECT `cacheid` FROM cacheevent WHERE `event` IN ('nodeChg_10480424','nodeChg_90837','nodeChg_24','nodeChg_15','nodeChg_2','nodeChg_1');

                      Edit: FIXED!!

                          • Hi again Wayne. As per my post on this thread 25th September, please advise why I can't add attachments? Someone else was told it was a usergroup issue but whatever it is it is annoying...

Hope it can be solved for me.

                            • On the The Ultimate Averaged Chart - The BBC Chart Re-Imagined there are blank posts numbers 677 to 680. Is it possible for a Mod to remove them?

It is a usergroup issue - I don’t have it enabled for the usergroup you’re in (and all other non-moderators) as I intended keeping it as a Premium Users option (once I get round to getting that back off the ground again).

For now, I have enabled it and you should be able to utilise the functionality - but note that you might lose it again once I get round to getting the Premium Users functionality back up and running.

                                • Just as an FYI on this Topicel - I've set a provisional limit of 50mb per user (in respect of their attachments usage) which should be ample.

But as a reminder, I do reserve the right to make alterations in the future once I've configured the Premium Users functionality.

                                  • Does UKMIX use GMT as a clock, because I just noticed that my last post was one hour ahead of the time hear when I posted it.
Did someone forget to put the clock back on UKMIX?

I turned this feature off a few weeks ago - only moderation team members should be able to "Comment" now.

I have however double checked and noted an issue with a particular usergroup which I've now corrected so only moderation team members can use the feature.

                                              • Having huge issues at the moment. I am currently logged in with Internet Explorer, however, it is not working properly. Meaning: Several buttons don't respond when I click them. The worst issue though is that I cannot access my account settings, because if I click on that it just takes me to the forum main page. This means I am currently unable to change my password. I cannot use a different browser (or my phone) to access UKMix, because it requires me to log in and says my password is invalid. I guess I could try to use the "forgot password" option, but I'm a bit worried that it won't work and will lead to me being shut out entirely. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
