I will do this, but will likely procrastinate until the last minute. See you the end of May

I'm interested to get amongst this.
A lot of my favourite songs of the 2000s and 2010s are by artists that debuted in the 1990s or in 2000 so it's a challenge, but I'm interested to see where I get with it.

I'm not saying I love you unconditionally, but we have been through a shitload of conditions and I'm still here.

Allow me to mix it up then! Only 8 of my top 30 are female artists, which is interesting... if this was 1990s onwards, I'd have half of R&B's finest female vocalists on there! Haha.Addict. Advocate. Author. Artist.

Voted - really tough, but I went with the artists who are on constant rotation for me which possibly ignores some of the 'bigger' artists across genres of the last 20 years. Surprising how narrow my listening habits are too, it's basically 98% R&B!

JSparksFan I voted for Sia as my #9, you can ignore that vote and count the other 49. I just re-checked my list and I'm sure they are all eligible.

I’m disappointed because I just realized Deborah Cox had a release in ‘97 with Things Just Ain’t The Same and then in ‘98 Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here before she came out with one of my favorites from in mid 2001. What a song and summer. Darn back to the drawing board.
Decided to share anyway it’s worthy of a listen for those who never heard it. The anthem of anthems. I just wonder why nobody thought to use it during the Me Too movement or even today.
ETA: based on the comments on YouTube this song was recently used during Canada’s version of Drag Race. So at least it’s not totally forgotten.
Going to go search whether it was a LSFYL."Absolutely Not" by Deborah Cox, feat. Hex Hector & Mac Quayle (Chanel Club Extended Mix Edit)Listen to Deborah Cox: https://DeborahCox.lnk.to/listenYDSubscr...

Honestly, that lip-sync was my first time hearing the song and I loved it! It even topped my chart for a day.Akini's Top 100 Albums of All-Time [2022 Edition: #96]
