the BBMA's are too basic for BTS to perform there. And the American audience is not going to appreciate their talent as much as K-Pop fans do.

I mean, I would prefer the VMAs a lot but considering all circumstances, I think the BBMA's are the most possible option out there.

Nahh, I think they're gonna be fine as long as they don't lip sync (and wear less make up). Plus they're not the type of your stereotypical K-Pop group so I think they'll be appreciated.

Okay.

Not sure how his music sounds like but I'm sure it's gonna be more K-R&B/Hip-Hop rather than the 'Pop' K-Pop.

^ Lol. And it's working fine for them though, at least with international fans and that's great. It kinda shows that being relevant in Korea isn't exactly necessary to build a career. They're going on a Brazilian "tour". Meeting fans and having 2 shows so that's great. I just want them to debut already. The only problem I have with them is that for me, personally, their music gets old quickly. Neither Oh Nana or Don't Recall had the "long lasting effect". I got tired of them after 2 weeks.

Yeah, but Korea is were they could make money and so far they haven't made any kind of impact there. None of their songs even charted.

This is actually much better than I was expecting. A bit more mellow compared to their previous releases.

Loona1/3 are repacking their "Love&Live" mini album with the title "Love&Evil"... I really can't wait because I'm really enjoying this project. Even though they haven't officially debuted or whatever, we are still getting so much material from then and it's so good.

They're taking on a darker concept for this repackage...

BigHit CEO talk about BTS' Billboard Music Awards nomination.

"We really didn't even imagine this. They released the nominee video and BTS appeared exactly at 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Chances of winning? Nah. Of course, it's going to be amazing if they win the award but I'm just delighted to see them nominated. It's not going to be easy since the other nominees are very strong but this award is presented by the fans so I think I may put a small hope in our passionate ARMY fans. However, I pray for them to have the chance to attend the awards ceremony with my two hands together rather than winning the award. We also happen to be free on that day. We haven't received the invitation yet but even our members have high hopes and they're nervous."

G-Dragon Announces 2017 Act III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour

G-Dragon will be holding one of the largest-scale K-pop world tours ever this summer, announced the artist’s label on Tuesday.

The BIGBANG frontman and Korean music icon will head to 19 cities on his upcoming ACT III, M.O.T.T.E world tour. It kicks off in Seoul, South Korea on June 10, and includes eight stops in different cities throughout North America in July. The solo concert series, G-Dragon’s third, will take the artist to some of the most prominent music venues in North America, Australia, and Asia, including the Tokyo Dome and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

The tour’s title, officially G-Dragon 2017 Concert: Act III, M.O.T.T.E, features an acronym for “Moment of Truth The End.” It is the largest tour ever conducted by a Korean male solo artist. According to the concert's official page on YG Entertainment's website, Act III, M.O.T.T.E refers to the third act in G-Dragon's life and reflects "loneliness and anguish hidden behind the glamorous life from his massive success."

The tour will reportedly be preceded by the release of G-Dragon's third album, his first since 2013's Coup D'Etat.

The far-reaching concert series will reflect G-Dragon’s expansive career as an artist who has spent the majority of his life in the limelight, ever since being part of child band Little Roo’ra. Since BIGBANG’s start in 2006, the singer-songwriter has become one of K-pop’s most recognized stars, known both for his musical artistry and as an avant-garde leader of fashion.

Infusing his personality and life experiences into his music, performances, and music videos, G-Dragon’s songs are typically large-scale, dramatic productions that blend hip hop with a variety of genres, particularly EDM, R&B, and pop. Surpassing regional boundaries, he’s collaborated with the likes of Diplo, Skrillex, and Missy Elliott in the past while simultaneously acting as a member of Bigbang and pursuing a solo career.

Though he hasn't released any solo music in several years, G-Dragon's kept busy in 2017. Earlier this year, he collaborated with R&B singer Zion.T on “Complex” and, more recently, the BIGBANG member joined IU on her new single, “Palette.”

Yeah I was surprised too when I saw that he thinks he's Kanye or something.

But idk though, 80% of BIGBANG fans are like GD stans (and they're obsessed with him) so let's see.

By the way, I find it funny that that IU x GD video gained like tons of views during the first day and then started decreasing very fast once the people found out that GD wasn't in the video.

I don't know. I'm not really sure. that's a lot, and the venues. Miami Airlines Arena , Bel Air Centre, wow. We'll see, this is quite ambitious for a solo kpop act . I hope he does fill or sells the majority of it.

I watched part of the first season but I had to stop because it was too exhausting and the episodes were disgustingly long. I'll check the new group out though.
