Quite sure that #1 and #2 are Years&Years and Kwabs, right?

Edit: Just noticed that James Bay is nominated, too. :o I guess it's him or Y&Y then.
Shame on me for changing...no, shame on you for staying the same

Remember seeing Stormzy on Jools Holland, this is the kind of rap music I just don't like and I feel like he's been around for ages so agree with Tony he shouldn't be here

I hope Years And Years are #1 (well they're my #1 here), new single King is yet another pop gem

Stormzy hasn't even recharted on iTunes - proves my point.

Apparently the results are:

#2 - James Bay
#1 - Years & Years

Very good, I guess. At the same time I haven't listened to most of other acts listed.

If Years & Years are #1 it'll be a great top 2!

I really do hope Years & Years are #1, there's such a buzz about them and they stand out on an otherwise pretty dull list. James Bay is nice but nothing different, George The Poet is a little too niche I feel. Don't rate Stormzy or Raury to be honest but that might just be me.

How does anyone know what the #1 is yet? They shouldn't be leaking it. :o

They? Leaks happen without "their" knowledge or approval, just as they do against some artists' will.
Anyway, I think it's a stupid idea to announce this list for so long, so I'm glad the results leaked a bit earlier. :P

^That's what i meant. No-one should be leaking it. It never happened before.

I didn't realise their singer Olly Alexander was the actor i saw in Skins and Penny Dreadful. :o http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olly_Alexander
Not that i've paid as much attention to the group.

1. Years & Years

The worst and least inspiring Sound top 5 ever. :-?

As expected though. His actor turned singer career may inspire a sort of career

I was really disappointed with the longlist this year. I like a lot of the acts, but only to a certain extent; can't see myself obsessing over very many as I have done previous years.

Years & Years, Novelist & Låpsley are my favourites. I loved Rae Morris when Don't Go was used in Skins, it feels like it's taken forever for her to get to this point. If her album is good I'll probably regain some interest though. Same goes for Shura if she finally puts Touch on iTunes.

I'm so glad James Bay didn't win. I don't mind his music, but he seems tailor made by the British music industry and I can't be bothered with samey music dominating radio for another year (although it no doubt will). Hopefully Years & Years will keep on releasing interesting music.

So, Years and Years has already peaked as an act as well as James Bay.
Stormzy only starts to take off.
Some of the act remain indie/cult following ones and some faded into the obscurity.
