Before I continue I should probably make a plea for people to take part in this despite by shoddy Rapper survivor. I promise to do a better job of this and once the votes are in we will whiz through the results quicker, with a simpler countdown design that won't take up so much of my time!

My inspiration here is that over the past 18 months me and my other half have watched every one of these movies in order and I discovered songs I never knew and loved the ones I'd forgotton all over again.

The Rules
The songs for this countdown must be from the 54 Walt Disney Animations Studio Films, so no straight to video sequels, no Pixar, no Nightmare Before Christmas or Goofy Movie.

They must be original songs, so the Elvis songs in Lilo & Stitch for insance or "Shut Up & Drive" in Wreck It Ralph won't be included. The classical pieces from the Fantasia moves are therefor also omitted.

You are voting for the song, not a particlar version, so for "Reflection", you just vote "Reflection", not seperate votes for the Christina Aguilera or Lea Salonga versions. Similarly outro/intro versions and encores all count as the one song.

To help you out, I have made a list of the main songs from each of these movies, there are a couple of others, but the ones I have left out are so short that they barely count as songs.

Please vote for your top 50 (you can vote less than this, but ideally a top 20 at the minimum. Please state the song and then in brackets the movie.

I don't know anything after Lilo & Stitch (except for one of the recent releases ) but I'll try and send you a list soon!

Oh, and let's use this as an opportunity to bury Frozen once and for all. :x

Well being a little bit of a snob, I thought I was going to hate Frozen but unfortunately I couldn't help myself and loved it, one song features high in my list though I agree it would be nice to see something more classic top this list

Some of those Direct to Video sequels had some great tracks tho ('He Lives In You' from Lion King 2 for example  ) But theres more than enough great material here to choose from I guess as well. Will be interesting. :)

Just a heads up, you do have "Burning Love" for Lilo And Stitch in the list which was an Elvis song.

Do you know I hadn't realised it was a cover since it sounds just like a Disney original, I suppose it's only fair to remove it then since I took out the version of Shake Your Tailfeather

I'm Team Frozen, but there are so many classics in that list! "A Whole New World" would probably be the most fitting winner.
Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.

I sent my votes, some of the songs are cheesy, annoying and stupid but I managed to find 50 stunning gems to vote for :P

Forget about those cheesy songs like "Beauty and the beast" and "A whole new world" and those dumb stupid "Frozen" and "Tangled" songs, there are other really beautiful masterpiece songs in there.
Britney Spears . Michael Jackson . Madonna . Metallica . Radiohead . Led Zeppelin . Oasis . Beyoncé . Soda Stereo

I don't have a problem with anyone including that one if they want, but I left it out because it felt like just a few lines between dialogue. Thought watching the clip, it's actually a bit longer than I remember.
