Probably it sounds a bit mediocre but this song has stuck in my head for almost like 3 days)) I suppose the constant radio rotation of this song is caused the reason of being influenced on me))

Do you know what she's singing about?

^Yes, great pop song. The main message of the song is that love is the most important thing on Earth. Love evokes the best of our souls and helps not to ruin ourselves.
lyrics of the 'Trees' song wrote:Trees
Your idol is a semigod
He created you and you believed
In emptiness, between the lines
You touched love, and it burned away.
Paintings, cars, papers.
Where is the real love, then?
You will wake up one morning.
Tell me...
Tell me, where have you been?
Where were you when love lived on Earth?
Where were you, when I was waiting for you only?
When the trees were big,
When all boys become men...
Hit me, my satire,
It's just that I lived a bit more of life.
And I'm holding this world,
like a child on my arms, but you are a father only by words!
Paintings, cars, papers.
Where is the real life, then?
You will wake up one morning.
Tell me...
Tell me, where were you?
Where were you when love lived on Earth?
Where were you when I was waiting for you only,
When the trees were bigger...
When do all boys become men
and stop playing with cars and swords,
don't break the silence to pieces
and hold the whole world on their palms?
On their palms...
When the trees were big...
When all boys become men,
Men...

Though Polina's live performances don't impress me, her voice always sounds a bit strained especially on the high notes, I love most of the songs in her discography. Here're my most listenable.

The good old days (early 00s) when guitar music was still in fashion had a bit of an impact on Belarus as well (even in the lightest form of pop rock). I don't know whether Mantana was trying to be Sixpence None The Richer, No Doubt or Texas but it was still a good fun to listen to for a kid.

^ I couldn't understand at first listening if I heard this song in my childhood or not, then I realised that I heard it before. I love this pop song with this light form of pop rock. I also reminisce 'bout Alevtina Egorova who was a soloist of FM group, but first I've known about her as a solo singer when she collaborated with a russian producer Alexander Shulgin. He wrote a lot of great songs for her.
I don't really love the way she sounds here, but I love the chorus part.

^I do remember this one, but I can't say it was really popular.

At least 90s gave Russian music a push towards the experimental mode (which it quickly ditched, but anyway)
