The other members mysteriously vanishing years ago (you don't hear any of them on "Don't Wanna Know") while Adam continues to hog the spotlight and get progressively cheesier and even more processed with each album, culminating with them actually becoming "cool" because of irony like what happened to Barry Manilow.

they'll release a pop album by the name of Marron Five, but itll flop.

Then theyll go back to Maroon 5 and release a heavy metal album, but itll flop.

Then theyll release a rap album by the name M5. Itll flop.

Finally, in 2026 theyll release a high profile country album by the name Adam Levine's and the Maroons, it will flop.

then teyll disband and Adam LEvine wont find success while the rest of the members, separately, will relase albums and win Grammies AOTY

I still remember reading around 2009/10 IIRC somewhere that Adam thought they only had one more album left in them for now and after that they'd go on a break/disband or something. So who knows.

Do you think He'd eventually go solo depending how much more pop the band gets? (maybe in an attempt to preserve some of the legacy of early M5's rock sound for the fans who like the earlier stuff, although OTOH its been quite a while since theyve really crossed over into pop so..).

Actually this reminds me a lot of Silverchair and Daniel Johns, their final album had some musically genre explorative songs, evolved over from the previous album you could say from their more grunge/rock sound from the 90's, then They broke up in 2011 and later Daniel came back solo with a bit more synth/pop oriented sound. Cue the youtube comment war between 'what happened to him, go back to frogstomp what a sell out' vs. 'this is cool, he's allowed to musically evolve and make what he wants'. YMMV.

They'll keep releasing generic Pop songs that we're all still bopping to no matter how much we hate them.

You are not alone, but I tend to agree with the rest their earlier stuff was better. I guess this is the fastest way to make a buck and it doesn't seem that the rest of the members mind a lot, less work = pay. Why not? I would do it...they are just leaning towards where the money is at. So I guess they (I mean Adam Levine ) will keep on working with Benny Blanco ,Max Martin and more "pop bubblegum" producers over the next ten years.

I do think Adam is the most shameless frontman of all time though in terms of being an attention hog... you have in the past had bands like No Doubt, Blondie, Bon Jovi, Culture Club, The Killers, even Coldplay, who had the "star" lead singer who got the lions share of attention and even they went out of their way to make sure you realize they were a band and not just one person and their backup people and made sure to let people realize there are other members with crucial importance to the band.... hell, No Doubt's Don't Speak video was a mockery of that sort of mentality (where Gwen gets put so front and center to where the other members grow to hate her), yet Adam precisely has done this to his "band mates" (aka, the people nobody has seen in years who are currently replaced by laptops on Don't Wanna Know). I could get behind the pop stuff if it wasn't so overly cheesy... Don't Wanna Know is one of the laziest and most generic songs I've ever heard, it sounds like a first take demo, it's sung with so little feeling and the music itself is so slight it's almost as if Adam woke up from midsleep to lay his vocals down before he went back to bed.
