Overrated, but she has some nice songs.
Bring me home in a blinding dream
Through the secrets that I have seen
Wash the sorrow from off my skin
And show me how to be whole again

I love Carrie but don't really use her music anymore...
Welcome to the underworld

I included Anastacia in my rank (she was my #47).

Most people forget that technically she's a Beyonce, Britney, Xtina, J.Lo, P!nk, Alicia, peer. Debuting and finding success and fame around the same time, most people don't put her in their same league just because she could never hit the American market (despite being American) but there was a time around mid-00s she was bigger than all of them in Europe. She was also known here in Latin America and on heavy rotation on MTV.

I think she was good, some of her singles are great, she was doing excellent until her 3rd album, then she experienced a massive dramatic decline and fell like a rock.
Britney Spears . Michael Jackson . Madonna . U2 . Radiohead . Lenny Kravitz . Led Zeppelin . Daft Punk . Oasis . Eminem . Metallica . Soda Stereo

I don't know one Carrie Underwood song.

I like Anastacia, her voice is everything. She had some REALLY REALLY GOOD songs a long long time ago.
Shame on me for changing.... no no no... shame on you for stayin' the same.

If you like a strong vocal, You might like Carrie. Though country isn't for everyone, then again she can be quite pop at times!

Anastacia has one of the best voices in popular music, I think she is underrated in that regard still, tantalising voice. Also you know you are listening to an Anastacia song straight away, she has a distinct style. Looking forward to her new 2017 album, no voice quite like hers in pop for me oh and it's a shame you didn't mention that she released a great album in 2014 titled "Resurrection", check it out guys!

She was my #19. :D

Ah, Carrie Underwood - the greatest country singer of all-time. She's actually the only American Idol contestant who delivers fire with each and every album. Even Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks have had sub-par albums. "Blown Away" ranks among my all-time favourite songs, and Carnival Ride among my all-time favourite albums. She's just fantastic.

From one incredible voice to another! Anastacia has the vocals of a lioness. Love her 'sprock' sound.

Carrie is the highest selling American Idol contestant ... in the US. If you include the rest of the world, Kelly has higher single & album sales (just saying) [gotta keep my reputation as a Stan going somehow]

anywho, I loveee Carrie! she's an amazing singer & songwriter, and she's yet to release a bad album!

Indeed, "Resurrection" is a great album. Staring At The Sun is my favorite btw.
And she was my # 15) I love Anastacia, her energy, her charisma and her special timbre.

Not strange really, firstly I wanted my list to partially reflect who I've been into this past year or two plus I'm passionate about so many artists and I also knew Anastacia would get plenty of support from others which gave me an opportunity to vote for other ladies I love. :D

I like Carrie. She's good and all. But I won't go too far and say she's the greatest country singer when we have LeAnn Rimes (criminally underrated) and even Trisha Yearwood. I can only take her voice in small doses. She's tends to be too shouty at times. But glad she made it this high.

I honestly really dislike LeAnn Rimes' music actually (other than 'Can't Fight the Moonlight' and 'How Do I Live'). Dolly Parton or Shania Twain would definitely be more likely to receive that label.

Yeah I agree! LeAnn has some great songs but she's so inconsistent!
I haven't got into Trisha Yearwood yet, so can't comment on her bar one song!
Dolly is the greatest counter singer, she may. It be my favourite but she's an icon! She'll always be the Queen of Country Music! Reba, Patsy, Tammy and Loretta follow! Carrie is brilliant but she has a long way to go before she's considered a legend like these women, I'm sure she'll be up there in 20 years time!
