The original diva! None of our faves would exist if it wasn't for Ms. Ross.

Watching her E true Hollywood story made me admire her so much. One of the strongest women in the game. All future divas are nothing compared to her. She is the true definition of modern day diva

Has the bubbling under finished somewhere along the line? I really don't think my number one has made it this high, but she still hadn't appeared in the bubbling under last time I looked either. :P

A bit of catching up from me...

Kate Bush - don't know THAT much of her stuff - love "Wuthering Heights" but all in all she's a bit odd.
Mary J Blige - not REALLY my thing, but she's brilliant at what she does.
Nicki Minaj - not my thing, and some of her stuff I can't stand, but I love "Super Bass"
Carrie Underwood - Only really know her "winner's song" and the excellent "Before He Cheats" - but she sounds good.
Kelly Rowland - very hit or miss for me. "Stole" is amazing, some others less so.

Anastacia - amazing powerful voice. I considered her, but ultimately didn't vote for her.

Diana Ross and Donna Summer - really these two can be considered together for me. Both are amongst the most legendary female soloists of all time, both have huge strings of classic songs. However, both are not really my thing, and therefore whilst I charted both, they were outside my top 50 and behind an awful lot of much lesser known singers!

Annie Lennox - My No. 15. I wasn't including Eurythmics stuff in my votes either - in fact I prefer her solo material. "No More 'I Love You's" and the entirety of the "Diva" album (particularly the singles) are amazing!

Going to continue my comment again after long time

70 - Patti LaBelle - I don't like her. Every time I see her singing in an award show, she kept on screaming through the mic. :x The only song I knew from her was Lady Marmalade. And that was after All Saints covered it

69. Kelis - Kelis is known but not so popular in Asia until she released Milkshake. That song was huge in Asia together with Trick Me. I was just an innocent boy back then ,doesn't understand what the song Milkshake was about, not until I go to the Uni few years later when my friend told me the real meaning of the song  I had to read through the lyric (i never pay attention to it before) and was surprised how this song was able to pass the censorship in my country  The version of Oceania where she was featured is better than the original.

68. Monica - So UKMIX's urbanite havent forget about her huh? I first heard about her when she sang For You I Will. I don't think her first album was popular in Asia, but this song was really popular. Urban in general is not a popular genre in Asia (Even I don't like it). But in the 90s, R&B Pop songs were a thing and Monica was actually singing this genre at the time. She was super famous in Asia during The Boy Is Mine era. Her single was a hit one after another. It was not until her went more urban R&B that her popularity in Asia declining. Her last song that was able to get a minor hit here was So Gone..Even All Eyez On Me got much better airplay than that song  . My top three songs from Monica are Angel of Mine (Her version is superior than the original by Eternal), Inside, & Street Symphony. All these 3 songs were huge hits here. i was surprised actually to know the latter two songs were a flop in US :o

67 - Norah Jones - I always thought she was boring. I always heard "Come Away with Me" on MTV and thought this song is boring. She never really able to make me like her with her music but I do like Don't Know Why. It is a great song and there is something soothing about it...don't know why

66. Fergie - When I first saw her in BEP video Where is The Love, I thought she looked familiar. It was not until awhile I realise she was the girl the group "Wild Orchid". For some reason, Wild Orchid was popular across Asia with Talk To Me but not in the rest of the world . I quite like few BEP song but when Fergie when solo, I never got into her songs like I did with Gwen. I guess they were too Hip-hop/R&B and I never like that genre. The only few songs from her solo career that I like were Clumsy, Big Girl Dont Cryand Her duet with Koda Kumi, That Ain't Cool. And Wayne, did you realise your key songs for Fergie was actually Norah Jones' songs

65. Joni Mitchell
- I tried to listen to her but yeah....her music is not for me.

64. Solange Knowles - People actually listen to her :o All I know about her is she is a flopped singer and Beyonce' sister.

63. Florence Welch - Another act which I thought a bit overrated here. Her voice is really cool but her songs don't excite me. The only song that I like from her and her band is Shake It Out

62. Lauryn Hill - well.....no and too overrated

61. Ellie Goulding - Ellie used to be so unique during Light era until she decided to hop on the generic dance music wagon. Anything Could Happen was a bop and remained as her best single yet. Her dolphin squealing voice was everything

Never thought much of Diana! She has classics but she's always come across as very basic to me, her voice isn't great imo. She comes across as someone who's so up herself too.

Well I live in Asia and never heard her music on the radio. Also I never keep up with her music. Good for her for having a #1 album and Grammy & Brit nominations. All I know she tried to release something more than 10 years ago and it's flopped.

New information will just come along when people not agree with your comment  And I have a life. Not like im so free to surf the internet just to discover Solange new album :P
