Songs which sound the same...

Hey guys,

I remember there being a topic like this a while ago but the search function refuses to work for me and I kinda need your help.

I'm currently slightly unhealthily obsessed with covering songs and messing around with them, mainly fusing other songs into them. My favourite being the cover of Bleeding Love mixed with Save Tonight by Eagle Eyed Cherry ('Keep bleeding, fight the break of dawn, keep bleeding, tomorrow you'll be gone') I've been touting round recently but I'm desperate to do more weird and wonderful concoctions.

If you could oblige and maybe even discuss songs you think sound similar they may give me suitable inspiration to form some more weird covers. Hurrah!

Muchos gracias UKMix x

The bridge in Sean Kingston's Take You There sounds almost exactly like Nelly Furtado's Say It Right's bridge!

I don't know if it's an obvious sample I've never noticed before, a rip off or what, but when Destinys Child's "Nasty Girl" breaks down into the "Nasty put some clothes on, you look so down, Nasty don't know why you, will not sit down" it sounds like Salt N Pepa's "Push It".

Aha! I did wonder if it was something I'd just missed despite listening to it for years! Had no idea Tarzan Boy was in there too

Beyonce’s Ave Maria is exactly the same melody as Madonna’s Promise To Try.
Girls Aloud: Only 5 years until their 20th anniversary reunion tour! (and only 5 years until I can change my signature...)

I always thought that Did it ever cross your mind by Vanessa Hudgens is a cheap disney-ish version of Feedback by Janet Jackson
