He's done amazingly with this album, to follow up such a strong first album with an arguably better body of work is no small feat! King Ed rules

I am on my third listen now, which is Kind of a good Thing for itself, as I absolutely hated him on his first Album, although I don't really know why.

Well, this Album doesn't correspond with me yet, but something keeps me listening to this. Don't know how this will end up in the end, but it has potential.

On a side note: I hate the cover, so lazy :D

Annoyed he made the whole thing clean instead of releasing a clean and explicit version. I'm not here for censorship. :x

halfway through the album and so far every track is pretty great, but nothing really blew me away. Nina is probably my fave so far.

I've had a hard time listening to this because I've become quite anti-Ed lately due to him clogging up the iTunes chart by manipulating the instant grat rules, and I'm just not that keen on him as a person ever since he got involved with Taylor Swift.

There's nothing that comes close to "Sing", it stands out a mile as being musically different and just superior to everything else.

"Nina" is one of the strongest tracks, along with "Runaway" - both would make strong single choices. Some of the more acoustic ones where it's just him and a guitar seem to blend into one which is the danger with any album of this nature, it can get very beige at points. The majority of the tracks will be growers and I might like them more once they've been hammered on TV shows for the next 12 months.

This album is fantastic; I enjoy it much more than +. Thinking Out Loud is his best recording.

I agree now. This album really is great. I only really dislike "the man", the rest is absolutely great. This has the potential to become my album of the year, given that subsequent singles will keep this album afloat and my interest high.

It's great it's good it's talented... But it doesn't have the "+" charm imo

I love The Man, One, Don't, I'm A Mess, Nina, and all of them actually though' But I expected something more mind-blowing tbh. Ed is still in my top 3 favorite artists ever 8-)

Well I also thought this was named X (as in the letter of the alphabet)

I always come back to this album over the days. Usually I get tired of an album and then it is forgotten or it gets revived one day, but with this it is special, I never actually stopped listening to this.

This is just a really really good album and he deserves every ounce of success he is earning with this. Still hate his first album though

Currently, two tracks standout for me and have the most replay effort - Thinking Out Loud and Photograph.

Overall, the album is quality.

Heard this Thinking Out Loud track at work yesterday, and was surprised to hear that such a One Direction/Union J boyband song was being sung by Ed Sheeran, the supposed most powerful person in black music right now...... :-?

I think it works with the little promotion up to now. When it REALLY slides down the charts there will be promo I'm sure. Until now the singles are promo enough.
