As if TOL is a 1D/UJ like track. It sounds like it was written by someone so much older than Ed with so much more life experience. If you want to hear a track on the album that does sound boyband like then listen to Photograph.

This is my favourite album of the year, and will probably remain that way.

Thinking Out Loud is mediocre compared to Runaway, I'm A Mess and Take It Back.

Runaway is criminally underrated.

I'm curious to see what singles he will release next :)

I think 'Bloodstream' definitely should be single #4. I'd also like him to release 'Nina', 'Tenerife Sea' or 'Shirtless Sleeves'.
It's so hard to pick. So many good songs on this album!

+1 It's a masterpiece. Do you mean Afire Love?

I think I'm a Mess would be a good choice; that and Photograph seem to be the most popular album tracks left, however Photograph is in some ways similar to Thinking Out Loud.

Even My Dad Does Sometimes and Shirtsleeves are so overlooked, especially the former track.

I read on an Aussie newspaper that he only wanted to release 4 singles from the album.

Thinking Out Loud being compared to 1D... please, 1D wishes they could pull off something that romantic.

A bit too poppy. I liked his folksy side more

Really? Where did he say this? It doesn't matter anyway -- the album will still sell without single releases, but there's a lot of wasted potential if that's the case. I guess he doesn't want overexposure.

^^ That's understandable, heppolo. Then again, the entire album has a whole lot of variety to it compared to + so maybe that's why some won't like the album overall. I personally dig the diversity.

I don't think he would release Afire Love as single, though it's the best track left on the album..if he decides to release another single it will be surely one between I'm a Mess and Runaway

Ed is set to perform Photograph on X Factor tonight, so that might be the fourth single. It's a really good choice if so (he might just perform it as an album track since he doesn't need to promote a single right now), but I just don't know how I feel about him releasing another ballad after Thinking Out Loud. I suppose since Sing and Don't are both uptempos it evens things out anyway.

EDIT: just saw the Bloodstream thread.

This album would be perfect if Tenerife Sea wasn't in it. The song is too extra schmaltzy for an already-schmaltzy album.

And it has some mighty competition (Black Messiah, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, In the Lonely Hour though I feel that one is way more schmaltzy than people claim x is).
