TORUL is strange, I quite like the idea, but it feels undone.
Horse Heads - Questions - brilliant guitar-centric rock
CTMF - Something's Missing Inside - the classic punk atmosphere got brilliantly re-created
Stone Temple Pilots - Roll Me Under - it's okay-ish, I guess
Birthday Boy - Through The Sound - finally something great in the BlankTV's heaps of unsorted content
Show Me The Body - K-9 - what was the inspiration behind this?
Datarock - Ruffle Shuffle - engaging sound
Slug - No Heavy Petting - from here on, it gets technical

^ This is your review for a part # 2. I'm afraid you missed the first part. One page above. :)

From the first part I really liked:
Lon Lon - Killing Me - it's like a perfectly crafted
Transistor - All You Remember - post-punk/shoegazing belter
Red Telephone - Kookly Rose
Dungen & Woods - Turn Around - I like it, but maybe it's not adventurous enough for Dungen
Abdomen - Lies - my fave in this bunch definitely
Nice ones:
Parade Of Lights - Tidal Waves - the production is safe but sound
Sunflowers - Castle Spelt - it's like goth surf
MGT - Every Little Dream - a bit Sisters Of Mercy-esque
New Division - Precision - nice synthy vibe

Prids - Lie Here - lovely song
Merk - Lucky Dilemma - lo-fi funky
Qual - How Many Graves? - pumping
Ash - Buzzkill - actually a good one
Ought - Desire - lovely vocal
Flowertruck - Enough For Now - I like that vibe
Some credible ones:
K's - Sarajevo
Vinyl Staircase - Cherry
not a fan:
PJ Harvey & Harry Escott - An Acre Of Land

Emotional Response label just released two volumes of Typical Girls series. Each LP contains 16 of the current female fronted and trans inclusive punk, post-punk, indie and hardcore bands at present.

As usual in this type of releases, there are a lot of shitty amateur material there, but if you will be patient, you'll find some fine stuff. :)

Vol. 3

My fav. songs of vol. 3:

RATA NEGRA - Por No Estar Sola
SICK BAGS - Microwaved Brains
UNSKILLED LAB - Stabbing Pain
SWANN DANGER - No Beginning

Vol. 4

My faves of vol. 4:

FRENCH VANILLA - Evolution of a Friendship
THE PRIMITIVES - Rattle My Cage (heard before)
PRIMARY - No Bridge Unburned

Will definitely check out volumes 1 and 2.

Off topic: new by Iceage :o and by Okkervil River :o :o

Part 2

Wax Chattels - Stay Disappointed

Roxiny - Goliath

Courtney Barnett - Nameless, Faceless

Beach House - Lemon Glow

Muse - Thought Contagion

Expected bit more from those 3 acts above. As the first songs of the new albums, they might be better. Still good music, however. On the other hand was pleasantly surprised by The Drums. Their last album was quite mediocre.

Drums - Meet Me In Mexico

Ride - Keep It Surreal (choose Deezer downhill left)

Roxy Girls - Straddling The Cannon (better than Dangerous Driving  )

Sick Joy - Senses

Strange Cages - Hypothalamus Blues

Wholewheat - Ands Ifs Buts And Whys (probably my favourite song of the week.)

Grooms - The Directory

Skinny Lister - Thing Like That

Alpha Sports - Summer Days

Albert Hammond Jr - Far Away Truths

Bush Tetras - Red Heavy

Good Doogs - Nothing To Do

Altin Gün - Tatli Dile Guler Yuze

Iceage - Catch It - almost unprecedented level of cool
Voidz - Pointlessness - from the new angles they can catch the light
Fine for me:
Skinny Lister - Thing Like That
Sick Joy - Senses
Ride - Keep It Surreal
Three very good ones in a row:
Bush Tetras - Red Heavy
Good Doogs - Nothing To Do
Altin Gün - Tatli Dile Guler Yuze
He/she/they definitely has/have better songs:
Albert Hammond Jr - Far Away Truths
Drums - Meet Me In Mexico
Courtney Barnett - Nameless, Faceless
The stress test: for me
Muse - Thought Contagion
Lisa LeBlanc - I Love You, I Don't Love You, I Don't Know
Preoccupations - Antidote

Mark Stoermer - The Perennial Legend of Dr. Mabuse
Really something else.
Guerilla Toss - Dose Rate
Enjoyed this one as well.
Dives - Tomorrow
Siluh Records has a very good catalogue, this one is not an exception.
Marietta - La Carte
Very good.
Colour - Black
A very skilled guitar work, not a big fan of the vocals, but their do work in this song.
Linn Koch-Emmery - Wires
Lovely.

Iceage feat. Sky Ferreira - Pain Killer - that one is pretty interesting
Vinyl Staircase - Last I Heard - type of ''road movie'' indie music
Dead Meadow - Nobody Home - I am fine with a little bit of psychedelia
Ninth Wave - New Kind Of Ego - post-punkish exercise
Fontaines DC - Boys In The Better Land - a bigger statement than it is on the surface
Amaya Laucirica - Little Clouds - moody, tasteful

Jorge Elbrecht feat. Geneva Jacuzzi - Guillotine - oh so good!
Snob - Lycra Daddy - raw and very much in your face
Tremends - Now We Know - the vocals here are so smoky, so grainy
Shopping - Suddenly Gone - catchy!
Jesika Von Rabbit - Innuendo - love the retro-ish keyboard sound
Alcabean - Running - very likeable, black and white music video helps to digest the product as well
Wand - The Gift - quite a smooth production
Lost Under Heaven - The Breath Of Light - I kinda like it, but don't want to listen to it more than once

Some negatives
Manic Street Preachers - Dylan & Caitlin - not a fan of this
Lily Allen - Three - expected more
Wolf Alice - Sadboy - it's just okay
Sydney Valette - Fight Back - not my cup of tea

Canshaker Pi - Put A Record Out - Placebo pill makes people more creative
D.A. Stern - Bluedgenes - for a dedicated listener
Good Field - Necessary Feeling - minting the coins
Blinders - Gotta Get Through - burgeoning
Beat Escape - Moon In Aquarius - this will get no mainstream acceptance
Drab Majesty - Cannibal - good one.
Gengahr - Burning Air - it's a bit underwhelming in their terms

Illuminati Hotties - Cuff - a very Placebo-like quiet-loud-quiet song, nice
Gozu - The People vs Mr. T - the name of the song never suggested what it really had in store
Modern Whale - The Dirt - catchy
Milliner - Blood Sciences - angry and energetic
Vaccines - Surfing In The Sky - they had better songs
Dreams - No One Defeats Us - this took way to long to make, psychedelic synthpop/post-punk sound is almost what I expected, but I can't really say it is good
Voidz - ALieNNatioN - sadly it got deleted
