I do get the initial response from fans, but it's an album that really grows on you, IMO.
My initial difficulties with Utopia were due to the fact that I basically loathe flutes as an instrument
but I'm getting used to it. Her voice is beautiful, the song have a great structure, and even the apparently silly lyrics resonate greatly in the context they're put in and in the way they are sung.
I am not sure where I would put it in my Björk album ranking, but it's definitely her most adventurous album since Volta, and I really missed that from her.
My highlights are: Arisen My Senses, Blissing Me, The Gate, Features Creatures, Loss, Sue Me, Claimstaker, Future Forever
