The only thing that comes to mind, starstruck, is 'Hoodie' by Lady Sovereign

Mine:
It's a bit of a groover this one, the singer sounds a bit like Jake Shears & Jon from Jon & Vangelis - the chorus sounds like a sort of 70's downtempo disco track & the last line is 'I'll keep the lights on'...

yeah, I think I know the "Get Loose" thing, but can't put my finger on it

as for your song, Beren, I presume it's indeed "Keep The Lights On" by Wave Machines

it would also be nice of you to be aware that "Jon of Jon & Vangelis" is Jon Anderson, the lead singer of Yes

It's Kasabian - Vlad The Impaler.
I remember because of the stunning video featuring Noel Fielding.

Misha you're a star - I just had this song in my again & came looking to this thread with little hope so thanks :D The embarrassing thing is I actually reviewed this song for a website

Oh & I am fully aware that "Jon of Jon & Vangelis" is from Yes, I merely dislike Yes & quite like Jon & Vangelis

I'm looking for this song that has a 1960s/70s vibe to it - Summery & predominantly sung by a woman but also has parts sung by a man with lots of catchy whistling throughout. It sounds like a modern song made to sound like an old one, much in the same vein as She & Him but it's not them.

Any ideas? All I have in my head is the whistling section :(

The sort of whistling you get in 'Young Folks' - jolly, upbeat stuff. But it's not that song, it sounds more recent.

It seems to have been specially made for the ad

Jon Florencio (Produkt Sound) & Rich Devletian (Locke, Ours) for and produced by Future Perfect, LA.

Hi ive started watching fashion TV, not because I like fashion particularly but they play some AMAZING music! Only thing is they never say who sings the song.

I heard a song and it goes like this...

"Youre a serial killer "super lanky lover (?)" - it's so exciting, That you are "ok" (?) and I want to kill you"

The woman singing it sounded slightly french.

Thanks guys :)
