Eusébio (Portugal and Benfica football player) : 1942 - 2014

Eusébio, the former football player of Benfica and Portugal national team died today at the age of 71 years.


Three days of mourning in Portugal were offically declared by the president of Portuguese republic.

There are many videos of his career in youtube also if you are interested in knowing who he was.
He is for Portugal what Pelé is for Brazil.
Along with Amália Rodrigues (fado singer, passed away in 1999) Eusébio is considered part of the Portuguese culture.

I was so in shock when my father told me about this this morning, i couldn't even believe it. He was only 71 years old which makes it even more sad. Rest in Peace Pantera Negra.
