That's a bit mad - I backed Local Hero, Caroles Legacy and Herons Well.... and lost on them all.

Done each way bets for the National on Majestic Concorde, Silver By Nature and Ornais (as my outsider on 80/1).

Well nothing for me, one finished 12th and the other got pulled up! Well done Pete on your 2nd place.

Shame about 2 horses dying, don't recall that happening for a good few years.

The winner only just got through by the looks of things... he looked knackered!

Don't like hearing about horses dying - the hot conditions can't have helped.

More losing for me - not one winner in 3 days of betting. Time to give up for another year I think! Well done Pete!

So who's betting for tomorrow?

I think I'm going for each way bets on Treacle, Quiscover Fontaine and Seabass.

(PS. 2 years since "ba-bye boys!" aka June Sarpong aka Kim Fox from EastEnders).

One of the most gripping races I've seen, that finish was incredibly close! A lot of faller this year. I won for third but not sure how much, won't be a lot!

Sad to hear the favourite Synchronised and According To Pete died :(

I got some money back on Seabass.. I put my bet on when it was 22-1!

Really bad to see horses dying, especially Synchronised which I also backed and it had previously won me some money at Cheltenham - it was a great horse.

I won for the third time at this years, with Many Clouds at 33-1 and what a fantastic race he ran. I also won with Don't Push It in 2010 and Party Politics in 1992.

It makes me feel really guilty though when I hear about horse deaths, it's awful to see them falling, I'm so glad to hear that Balthazar King is on the mend after just breaking a few ribs at Canal Turn (not surprised he got a right kicking from Ballycasey on the way down.

Thankfully we haven't lost any in the last 3 years, though one horse, Seedling did die in an early race in the day :(

Since 2011 they've been diverting from fences where incidents have happened, but there's nothing more chilling than watching the horses pass a covered up body on the second time round.

I've bet on Many Clouds again this year even though he's favourite at 8-1 he was like a tank last year, they're saying he could be the first horse since Red Rum to do the double!
