Yes well done Aussies. Well played Rogers who scored a hundred, Lyon who took 5 wickets and to man of the match demon fast bowler Mitch Johnson. :P

Random post, but I walked past Mitchell Johnson on York St in Sydney yesterday. A bit of a surprise...was going to tell him to keep up the good work, but instead I just said to myself "holy *beep* it's Mitchell Johnson!"

Indeed we did, very happy that we did too. Looks like the 5-0 whitewash is still a definite possibility.

Looks like it is the end of Englishmen Kevin Pietersen's Test Career made the scapegoat for the Ashes debacle. He was the leading scorer for England in the series, no less but the axe still fell. Would seem his ego and ability to divide the changeroom is his downfall.

He's proved the knockers (including my Dad!) wrong, that's for sure.

Mitch Johnson keeps kicking arse - 4 wickets & a great catch so far, South Africa on the ropes. Got a feeling AB could hit them out of trouble though. I swear that mo of MJ's is a good luck charm, glad he grew it back.

We win. Again. 12 wickets for MJ in the match, well done. Well done also to Dave Warner for his 100 and Alex Doolan for his score + the 2 good catches he took. The Saffers will have to get their thinking caps on as to how to beat him in the next Test....I don't underestimate them whatsoever, despite the result from this match.

Yes Shell the Aussies did well away from home for a change. Well done Rhino Harris your wonky knee stood up and you bowled beautifully. Dave Warner is batting well too.

We're a team on the rise methinks - there's the future in Warner, Smith & Lyon + all the older experienced heads. Wouldn't be surprised if we were at #1 in the rankings by this time next year.

Terrible news today, Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes is in a critical condition after being hit in the head by the ball playing in a state match. He has had surgery to stop bleeding on the brain. Wishing for best for Phil and his family.
