This week's episode was really powerful. They managed to tackle racism, domestic abuse and religion so effortlessly. The police sub-story in particular made me emotional because stuff like that happens all the time.

The scene between Bailey and her son. Wooo. No words. Heartbreaking to see what black parents have to go through to help protect their kids.

Amazing episode indeed.

This week's episode was great. I quite like these ones with just a handful of characters in (four in this case) learnt more about Bailey in 42 mins than the last 304 episodes.

This season is doing well so far everyone seems to have had their own 2 or 3 episode story arc except for Richard and Alex (who is getting episodes 13 to 15) but I'm ready for a bigger over all story now as nothing seems very connected.

It's so annoying seeing so many tweets about how amazing Bailey was in the most recent episode as I haven't seen the episode yet as stupid UK is so far behind!

Can't wait to catch up - I've seen a clip on Twitter where she walks into another part of the hospital and proclaims she's having a heart attack. Looks amazing.

Yep. They were fired. One of them even said that they haven't been able to process it yet.

Why getting rid of them when they could have fired half the useless cast of interns etc.
Ugh. Hate this decision.
Get rid of Owen and Amelia for example.

Losing 5 regulars in one year is too much however I agree with the decision. Neither of them has actually had a proper storyline for the past two seasons and they sit outside of the clique that surrounds Meredith so often get ignored.

I feel like Owens time was up but I'm guessing as teddy is back for the finale the she will be a regular next year which means that only Bailey and Meredith are likeable of the female leads. Not a huge amount of faith in season 15 unless some of these interns start winning me over but one of them already leaving.

I hope now that the cast is so small (only 10 the lowest since season 2) that everyone especially Andrew and some interns get some development and there's some actual teaching going on rather than all this record breaking miracle science.

I'm experiencing a bit of mid-season "meh" at the moment - I'd usually watch the episodes as soon as my Sky has recorded them but for the last 4 episodes, I've left it nearly a week at a time.

Don't see enough of Catherine, Richard, Miranda, Arizona or Meredith, but see too much of Owen, Maggie, Jackson and Amelia.

There's such little continuity between episodes, I don't know what I'm meant to be following - the only thing of note I can recall is April's (dodgy) battle with faith and Jackson and Maggie's totally weird romance.

It's been a weird paced season. April's crisis of faith and Alex's patient Jimmy (both of which has no dramatic outcome) are the only ongoing storylines.

Amelia tumour was 3 episodes. Jos husband was 2. Bailey's health was 2. A story at the end of the season was 2. It's been a far better season than last as the characters have all grown in some way but there's been next to no tension.
