This show is such a mess. It's mediocre most of the season, then just hits you with one terrific scene after the next in the season finale! I'm not surprised that Laurel's father was behind Wes's murder, but all the twists and turns before they got to that point were just amazing. The scene with Connor answering the guy's phone was probably the most chilling point, but just like the previous two finales, the writers did a great job of piecing enough of the puzzle together, whilst still leaving a huge hole open to continue the mystery in the fall.
Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.
