I haven't see Winter Solider & GOTG yet, Thor 2 is good but could've been better tbh.

So, I finally saw Cinderella this weekend, and I have given it five stars. :o

I feel silly compared to everyone else's scores, but I genuinely loved it. The sets were beautiful, the casting was excellent, and I loved that they kept it faithful to the story (something that never seems to happen any more). It was just so magical and reminded me of being a kid. In the context of the film's target audience and genre, I think it's worthy of my five stars. I just really hope they do an equally good job of Beauty & The Beast (my favourite movie as a kid) or I swear I'll have a meltdown in the cinema!!!

I loved Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy god mother & Kate Blanchett as the Evil Stepmother.

Me too, but I didn't realise it was her at first! I said to my friend after, I don't think I've ever seen her not playing a villain! It caught me off guard lol.

Cate was great, also.

I went to see Pitch Perfect 2 today. It was actually better than I expected, obviously not as good as the first but still great at times. The music wasn't as good as the first one either.

It lasts about 20 seconds in the riff-off so don't get your hopes up too much. But it's 20 seconds of awesomeness.

I watched Jurassic World 3D tonight. The cinema was packed, and it was totally awesome. Best film of the year so far for me. :D

Would people like to see a Ratings Thread for 2016? Obviously the scope of this has changed now as Alice is no longer here and we originally planned to do a year-end countdown and stuff, but did people enjoy having somewhere to record their cinema ratings for the year? I will make a new Ratings Thread if there's an appetite for it. This discussion thread is a bit dead in the water though, so it can probably just double up for 2016 too...

I enjoyed it but, in all honesty, by the end of the year there were only about 2 of us still giving our ratings in.
