Watched American Sniper again today, but this time in IMAX, even better! Best movie of year so far.

I watched 3 movies today:

Whiplash: Amazing, a bit sick but amazing, J. K. Simmons was **** fantastic.

Theory Of Everything: It is a powerful life story, told in a beautiful and charming way, with great performances, one of the best films of the year.

Birdman: Good metaphor about Marvel's actors.

^ I hated The Theory of Everything, it's way too safe, specially for a "true story" movie, and apparently it's far from that

I think it is, I saw it twice in the cinema because it's so much fun, it doesn't take itself seriously at all

it's to spy movies what Kick Ass was to superheroes movies
I'm the terminator, bitch talk slick, I'm a have to terminate her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

People said the same thing about AS, and I thought It was an amazing movie, that's the magic of cinema, turn bad stories in fantastic movies. :P

I was wondering about the end of Birdman, and I have a conclusion:

*spoiler*

The camera in Birdman is continuous, unstoppable, always following, such as in life, such as is the life of Riggan. Only one cut occurs in the film, and that's when Riggan accidentally hits him with the gun. There he broke off the flow, broke off the life of Riggan. Everything that follows is a post-death hallucination.

Everybody wear black, the daughter brings flowers (which he can no longer smell) and the presentation is praised for its hyper realism, the character and actor die indeed. Birdman says goodbye and Riggan fly free.

Anyone disagree?

the ending is up for interpretation, which I think is just lazy filmmaking (not in all cases, of course)
I think he died on stage too, and the hospital scene is his afterlife

BUT in the play rehearsal Leslie said “He shot himself in the mouth, but he screwed that up, too” and since the movie is very 'meta', the ending could be inspired from the play, so there's a chance he did screw up shooting himself as well
the ending didn't 'ruin' it for me, but I wish it was better

Me too. I'm not a big fan of ambiguous finals, tbh.

Finally watched Kingsman today, what a **** insane film! Genius in every sense of the word, one of the best action movies I've ever seen, and best movie of the year. Matthew is the king.

Oh, I'm dead with the Iggy jokes.

I watched 3 movies today:

Love, Rosie - Generic as hell, and not even cute, just boring.

The Lazarus Effect - Bad, another crap year to horror movies, it seems, the only good horror this year was Woman In Black 2.

Kingsman - Still amazing, my fave movie of year so far!

Kingsman was great!!!. There will probably be a few good Horror movies later in the year. Hopefully Insidious 3 and Sinister part 2 are good.

Yeah!! Can't wait to see Kingsman again.

Last year was already weak to horror movies, so, I'm disappointed that this is year is following the trend.... Well, at least we have Sinister and Insidious this year, but we need more of James Wan!!

I was kidding  you have movies on your list that aren't out yet.

I went to see Cinderella last week, ok film, boring at times. Myself and my two sisters were the only people at the showing, had the place to ourselves. Rob Stark was hot  thought Kate Blanchett was great in her role as the evil stepmother.
