Very good episode indeed last night, Jessica Lange was brilliant. Great to see Sarah Paulson as well, even if it was only a small role.

Was great that they addressed the Olivia De Havilland and Joan Fontaine feud and would love to see that story played out on screen far more than the confirmed story for Season 2 which is
Charles and Diana.
Both actresses gave stunning performances in episode 5 and the nastiness is only set to deepen and continue as it did in real life.

Amazing jobs for both actresses. That look on Joan/Jessica's face when Bette didn't win the Oscar

I'm actually quite bummed that there's only one episode left.
Everything about this series had impressed me and hopefully they can avoid the dreaded Ryan Murphy "bad last episode" curse.
I guess the shortness of the series and the fact that this story has a definitive, factual, ending will steer it in a satisfying direction.
Hoping that both these amazing actresses get a nod come awards season because they've been stellar.

I shed a tear or two during the final episode. It was absolutely brilliant. The entire season/show was amazing. Lange and Sarandon both did a fantastic job.

Great episode.

Great series. Personally I still don't like Susan Sarandon but I have to say who else could play Bette Davis?
She did a great job, even if I don't like her personally.

I liked all the Faye mentions in the last episode  "she wants Faye to play her. I should warn her."

Well Ryan Murphy FINALLY managed a solid and fulfilling finale!!!
Lange gave Joan a dignified and emotional farewell whilst Sarandon gave us a glimpse into the loneliness left after a lifetime of living for her art.
A wonderful farewell after a fantastic season and I think both actresses deserve recognition come awards time.
Don't know if I'll be checking out Season 2 with Charles and Diana but if they ever get back to giving us some old Hollywood drama I'll definitely be back.

I felt very sad for both actresses and other big Hollywood icons. While there's no doubt that they would be glad to be recognized as legends and see their legacy still strong, they were clearly lonely in their lifetime. I felt especially sad for Joan. Both Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon did a fantastic job this season and i'm glad it did have good finale episode.

Loved this, especially the Oscars episode and when Bette said "f**k off Sylvia" to that journalist

UK just catching up on this again.

I enjoyed this too. :)
It shows you how somebody with huge earning power can be considered a menace by the people who they make the money for. I supposed the same applies to the music industry too.

It does show you why some actors and actresses don't turn up to pick up awards, when you know they could have been there.

Makes you wonder how many got awards when they should not have got them, plus didn't get them, because someone made certain they didn't.

Just finished episode 4 and I’m in love. Yes, I’m late to the party, but I knew I’d love it - Baby Jane is one of my favourite movies and Bette is one of my favourite actresses.

I’ve just watched the final episode and wow. I was always team Bette but Joan was so hard done by. The parallels with the industry today are huge - women are not allowed to age. I’ve watched Joan in some YouTube videos lately and in interviews she’s perfect - she doesn’t stall, doesn’t hesitate, there’s no ‘like’ or ‘erm’ used... a true icon that despite everything, she’d with grace (partly because surgery is available now that wasn’t) - but her beauty still shone through.

I think Bette is one of the best actresses of all time, but Joan was a star.

Both actresses were much better than Nicole Kidman in BLL. They were basically robbed.
