Me either. Sarah Paulson's character is annoying as! Twisty seems to have been shoe-horned in and I didn't really understand Evan Peters' character's motivations.

Billie Lourd seems to be just playing a darker version of Chanel #3 too. As much as I love Paulson, she needs a quiet season. I'd love to have Adina Porter play the lead again.

Just seen Episode 2 and I'm struggling to get into it. The scares are all predictable and I get that they're going for psychological horror this time, but at the moment there isn't a story, just 45 minutes of Sarah Paulson screaming and whinging.

I loved episode 2, it got me into the story. It's quite subtle and intriguing, I want to know more.

Is Ally part of the cult? Or is she just a victim, and then why? Is Ivy conspiring against her?

I love Sarah Paulson, so I don't mind her being the centre of the show. Hope we see more of police detective Colton Haynes.

Ratings fell from 2.0 to 1.2 on second episode. If the decrease continues, this might be its last season.

The ratings all fall dramatically from the opening episode.

Loved the last episode, it was the perfect mix of psychological thriller and comedy. This season is sooo good for the laughs, but intriguing at the same time.

The latest episode was pure comedy! The couple neighbor were like my fave characters in the past two episodes.

This season should have been called "AHS: Parenting" instead.

Only for that name, I think that Ozmandius will kill at least one of the two moms by the end of the season.

Third episode is the best one so far, it's more cohesive now. All we need is less Sarah Paulson and her annoying character.

Kai could pep talk me all the way to his cult. What a solid performance from Evan Peters.

It's getting better and better in each episode, it all makes sense now.

Evan Peters is epic in this role, I'm glad that the focus seems to be shifting on his character.

I've just watched the first episode of the new season and I can't believe how bad it was. For the first time I can tell I'm not going to watch AHS season. The premise is idiotic, the season is set on such a weak and uninspiring ground and, I can't believe I'm saying this, Sarah Paulson is so anoying that it makes it almost unwatchable. Murphy should've learned by now that he isn't and never will be David Lynch.

Episode four was much better because there was less Ally!

I liked seeing how Kai recruited his followers... so Ivy is in the cult then? :o

Funny to see Chas Bono, I didn't know that was him in the first episode.

Evan Peters is nailing it. Episode 4 was great, much mor rebatable than Paulson's constant screeching.

I love the neighbours as well. I'm glad Adina Porter isn't playing a normal person as that feels wrong.

it's getting better. Sarah Paulson is just a comedy character in this, can't take her seriously and love seeing bad things happen to her

Paulson only got good characters on season 2, 4 and 6.
Ally is hilarious for all the wrong reasons, while Audrey on season 6 legit cracked me up, like Meadow this season.

This season is getting interesting. I'm sensing that Beverley is gonna try and take over the cult from Kai as well.

This season started so camp and it became so dark and twisted real quick. I'm loving the story now. Kai is vicious and I believe she is manipulating Beverly at this point.

The nail gun scene was one of the best moment in this series EVER

It shook me to the core.

Why is Ivy in a cult with the guy who grabbed her by the pussy? Likewise, why is Chaz Bono in a cult with the women who tied him up?

OK so finally I can reply! Weird forum bug.

I found the nail gun scene bad enough but I think the gimp was the worst!

Enjoyed finding out more about Kai's back story and how he's linked to the psychiatrist! I hope Beverley takes over.

The latest episode, the one with the mass shooting, made me so mad! This season is seriously shaping up to be one of the best. The twist towards the end came out of nowhere!

I didn't forsee the twist either. The episode was edited because of the Las vegas shooting, FX Networks issued the following statement:

"In light of the tragedy last week in Las Vegas, Ryan Murphy and the producers of American Horror Story: Cult have chosen to make substantial edits to the opening scene of tomorrow night’s episode (Tuesday, October 10, 10 PM ET/PT). This opening, which was filmed two months ago and which portrays an occurrence of gun violence that has sadly become all too common in our country, contains a sequence that some viewers might find traumatic. Only the edited version of the episode will air on the FX linear channel, while the unedited version of the episode will be available on the VOD platform of your cable, satellite or telco provider, as well as on the FX Networks non-linear platforms, FXNOW and FX+.”
