Dumbo is such a dark film, Tim Burton is perfect for it. It’ll be interesting to see if they change the story though - Dumbo gets drunk and has beer fear in the morning when he finds himself up tree :lol:

Hardly Disney when you think about it, and hard to imagine Disney would approve that for an animation movie nowadays, let alone a live action remake.

But they can’t cut the March of the pink elephants - it’s so iconic.

Just no. He'll ruin it. He should go back to original weird films. His mainstream blockbusters are almost all flawed.

Dumbo is dark A F and it's not like Burton is a stranger to making films for young audiences so I can see why Disney went with him.

I like Tim Burton's work overall but his adaptations are hit (Alice....) and miss (Charlie...). I think it will be a decent hit regardless but he'd be doing himself a favour by not including Johnny Depp to the cast.
