They spent all of This Morning making viewers guess which of the team was going to be appearing...I was sure it was going to be Rylan and was ready to start a tirade of swears, but thankfully it was Ruth instead.

No idea who this woman is, apparently a Radio 4 comedienne called Susan Calman? The line-up is very Z-List so far...

Expect some kind of tribute to Bruce when the new series starts, if not before.

Debbie McGee, Jonnie Peacock and Alexandra Burke (!!!) complete the line-up, after GMB presenter Charlotte Hawkins and Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu were announced earlier.

I think there was a lull in the middle but the first three and the last three are pretty good for me, especially OBV Mollie and Alexandra. I'm psyched!

Lots of older contestants this year, could be a duff one for dancing if any of the youngsters can't move!

I'm just happy to have two faves on, I swear if they end up runners up to Aston I'll cry!

The winners should get a ‘Bruce Forsyth’ award trophey. Nice tribute to him and his love of dance,

^That's a great idea. Or if they don't want to rename the winners trophy, they could have the 'Brucies' for Best Cha Cha, Best Tango etc.

What a long slog that first show was!

Can't believe people have criticised Alexandra for getting emotional - she lost her mum a matter of weeks ago, of course she was going to! She is definitely a front-runner, can't wait to see her upbeat routines.

Debbie McGee getting 8s!? She's probably going to be a fan favourite this series.

I can't really stand Aston, he's too much of a show off.

The new judge is good, she's so similar to Arlene.

I was thinking that when i watched his routine. It just came across as smug and showing off. You don't start break dancing during a foxtrot. (not that i'm an expert but still :P ).

I'm really into this series and love the new judge Shirley. Alexandra was so good at the weekend, what a score too.

Aston was also very good with all those tricks but I'm still finding him too showy.

My favourites are Alexandra, Susan, Debbie and Jonnie.

I am really enjoying the series. There is a chasm between the dancers though - the top 3, then the middle bunch, and the bottom 4 or 5.

Something tells me not all of Debbie, Aston and Alexandra will make the final. Honestly both Aston and Debbie are incredible dancers but their personalities don't do it for me, so two shock exits would do me wonders

I wish Alex had waited til week 4/5 to blow everyone out of the water, it feels too soon, unless she can just keep gettng better?

Pleased for Mollie, wasn't sold on her week one routine but her tango was excellent, and undermarked.

A shame Chizzy went but I am not beside myself with grief either. Brian remains my least favourite.

Brian and Charlotte are definitely the worst, then there's the likes of Simon and Joe who are cannon-fodder. Richard is at least charming and somewhat novelty.

I think Alexandra will just keep getting better and will surely give us a breathtaking ballroom before too long.
