Coronation Street

I thought the funeral was quite touching. You could tell those tears were real. Again, it's a shame it was interspersed with another storyline. I did think the church looked quite empty though!

I liked the fact that Tracy referenced her Walkman and "playing her tapes upstairs" when she was a kid. That was a nice touch/ reference to the past!

I thought Peter was coming back for the funeral no?

Agreed! The funeral was good but the church should've been packed out, could they not have hired another 50 extras?

Yeah I was sure Peter was returning for funeral too but apparently he turns up tonight.

Yes that was more like the Corrie at old, just observing these conversations between characters.

Norris; "they were more on and off than the light in Beth Tinker's fridge"

Sarah Harding was AWFUL

Why is this producer intent on casting popstars instead of trained actors?

She wasn't that bad. I'm not sure what everyone is seeing, but I liked the character!

Tim proposing to Sally :P Love them together, and their friendship with Kevin is refreshing.

Sarah wasn't great, you could tell she was nervous. Mind you, she was better than Denise van Outen on Eastenders

I don't think Sarah was too bad, but when you're in a scene with Tracey and Beth and you're the worst actress... I'd say stick to the day job but I'm not sure that's wise either based on this new single

Kylie and David have been my favourites for ages, and I was always a fan of Sarah from her original run! Fantastic from all 3 of them tonight.

Brilliant acting all round. It's a shame the storyline was lacking. Everyone called what was gonna happen weeks ago.

Tina O'Brien was great in that live episode!

Glad it was Kylie who finished off Callum.

LOVED Friday's episodes, the best Corrie's been in absolutely ages... when Anna's legs caught fire :o

I hope this is a turning point, with Ken's stroke, the Barlows all returning and now this I feel like there's something to watch it for again.

Anna's legs catching fire was such a surprise and horrific to watch. I'm almost in tears when I'm eating pizza and the cheese falls off into my lip, so I can't even begin to what real burns feel like.

I love David and the Platts in general. The entire family are such strong actors and I love (and hope) that Gail hasn't been 'stupid Gail' for a while now. Gail was never dumb, never ditsy and I hope this is an end to it.

Ken's stroke is a great storyline to reunite the Barlow family. Anyone for Tracy to argue with is fine by me

Adam and Daniel Barlow who will soon be back on screen.

I love how they're essentially Mike and Ken 50 years younger.

I love that they're bringing the Barlows back. Ken has even more sons out there so I'd love them back too. Tracey is going to be comedy gold dealing with this lot

Wonder who they pair them off with?

I reckon Adam will end up with Eva when Aiden dumps her for Maria.

Daniel could be gay? I'm sure somebody related to Ken was revealed to be gay... maybe he'll end up with Todd.

It must have been so hard for Kim considering she went through the exact same thing a few years ago. Very surprised they even asked her to do it in the first place.

Just read that Liz Dawn (formerly played Vera Duckworth) is very poorly in hospital and is fighting for her life. :(
