I LOVED the ending for Brendan and Cheryl, so glad neither were killed off. It just felt so true to the characters and wrapped everything up brilliantly. Feels like a massive end of an era now the Bradys are gone.

Cheryls ending was awful. I know she's allways been incredibly self centered but to show her grinning around a sunny country side singing B*Witched all glammed up the day after she let her brother start a life sentence on her behalf - little bit tacky.

Very easily could've had her off screen for at least a week and then shown that clip after Ste references her.

More exits next week...
Jen and Liam. No big loss Liam has literally done nothing for 8 months and Jen's storyline realistically could've lasted 3 months if they hadn't kept re-editing it.

^I thought it seemed insensitive, too. Like she forgot.

Goodbye Jacqui  she left with a bit of a whimper but better than her dead/in prison.

She hasn't left yet - Claire Cooper said on This Morning that there is more of her next week even though her leaving scenes are this week

Check out BBC2 serial killer series The Fall on Mondays at 9 (or RTE in Ireland Sundays at 9:30): features Bronagh Waugh, Gerard McCarthy, Karen Hassan AND Emmet Scanlan! :o
I would make a thread on it but i don't know how many would respond.

Linsey is back filming as a ghost.

Though purely speculation it seems Browning will have a breakdown after a new nurse called Linsey arrives in the village.

Only just caught up with the last few weeks and it's been so good recently! You can tell Kirkwood's firmly back in charge. The wedding build-up was excellent and Texas's slow-motion death was pure Hollyoaks

What?? Great - didn't expect to see Karen back on telly yet but to see her back in two programmes is even better!

Amazing win for Claire Cooper at Soap Awards!

Notice how Scarlett Bowman (Maddie) seemed just as ungracious as her character in not receiving some of the awards - they won Spectacular Scene, though. Cheer up, ya bitch!

Won 5 awards in total. Quite how Bianca (Texas) got an actress nom by viewers is beyond me. Silas should have done the job properly.

I understand Biancas nomination as much as Kierons and James in sexiest male :/ makes no sense. Karen Hassan or Bronagh Waugh should've been up for the actress role.

Danny Mac was very deserved of sexiest male. That body is phwaor.

So pleased for Claire too.
I'd have liked the have seen the bullying storyline get recognised.

Can't believe Hollyoaks got 5 more awards than EastEnders though. :o

Very pleased for Claire, didn't expect it! I think because she's left people finally felt compelled to vote for her. Hollyoaks had a great night overall, it would've been a travesty if they hadn't won Spectacular Scene.

The only shame was Karen Hassan being ignored across the board and Bronagh not getting a nod for actress.

Cathy and Cindy Beale are clearly soap cougars.

But yeah, Dodger could probably get with anyone he wants, even though Gillian does look good for someone who's nearly 60.

This Irish girl that's John-Paul's babymama is in Love/Hate as of Series Two (on in a couple of weeks). She's John Boy's (Aiden Gillen) crack whore girlfriend. Great actress, nice redhead hotty.

When did Carmel's scar completely disappear? :o
Just one of many totally absurd things in this show at the moment. The scene with Browning and Cindy was both confusing and ridiculous - i thought he was raping her at one point but it turns out he was just "killing" her - then she wakes up with no marks on her at all and pulls a shelving unit on herself. Nobody noticed him in the school when he had no reason to realistically be there?

They did explain Carmel's scar, she left for a few weeks and when she came back she stated how she'd saved up for cosmetic surgery to get rid of it.
