The whole montage is sweet but it’s actually Gabby dancing with her kids which moves me the most, so cute

I always thought Bree hitting rock bottom in S8 was really forced just so we could see the classic Bree of S2 again. But forced or not, much better than the floozy she was in S7
Yeah, she’s never have considered taking her own life. That was one of the moments that endeared me to Renee is when she stopped her. I also enjoyed Ben much more than before, but I’m a sucker for an Aussie accent.

In all fairness I feel like Bree got some really hot guys: Keith, Carl and Chuck were all very handsome. I think they did the right thing getting her away from Orson though, he turned into a spitefully horrible character, plus he’s the reason Edie died.

I love the song but I get what you’re saying. Plus I hated how it looked like Julie wasn’t even sweating during childbirth, she looked perfect. I found it surreal when I watched S1 to think that mature Julie had sexytime with one of the young twins.

S8 was actually good because it brought the women together again. In S5-7, there’s be episodes where the housewives never even interacted with each other, as a group or even as individuals.

Agreed. I just finished rewatching S8 yesterday, and the show really came to a beautiful end. The friendship rupture then repair is really what the show was all about, and the girls banding together to protect Gaby and Carlos was a fitting storyline to bow out on.

The "Wonderful, Wonderful" song didn't really impact me six years ago on the first watch, but I appreciate it a lot more now.

OMG I just remembered the horrible Grace story from S7. She turned out to be Ganby’s after all right?

She was the first to leave the lane, and considering how much Mike and Susan loved it there, something big had to happen to make them leave it all behind - aside from that season when they moved away, Susan had lived on the lane around 25 years I believe.
They could have used a different plot device though. Julie gets a new job and so they all move so her and Mike can be with their grandchild. Or Susan gets a great new job in New York as an artist.

Ah, don't even remind me. Truly the low point of the show.

Eva Longoria did great in that storyline but the material she was given was awful. The scene where she was carjacked and was rushing to get the doll out of the seat.

Yes Eva did great job, but that plot was truly terrible. That is actually quite a big game changer and they can't use it if they don't plan it well, it seems to me that they only did it for season 6 end cliffhanger.
That whole story with Gabi falling in love so fast with Grace. Then when that terrible family was written out they like all forgot about it and it's like it never happened. It was just handled terribly.

Soooo stupid. Now I remember it. They gave Grace the exact same personality as Gabrielle, even though personality is hardly passed on through DNA. Her personality would be nurtured by whoever raised her, not in her genes!

And they made Grace skinny but her 'parents' were big - just like Juanita is big and Gabby is skinny. But that doesn't explain Celia!

One of the worst plots ever - so many errors in there.

When Orson fell from the hospital roof in S3, this was supposed to be his death. But the producers got this absurd idea that he was popular so they kept him on the show.

Tbh I didn’t mind him in S3 or S4. Past that, he was just awful and a cold-blooded murderer.

That was good. The part that gets me is when the kids come downstairs and ask when she’s gonna be back from the store.

I never checked but please tell me that Felicity got some award for her role as Lynette.
That supermarket scene.
That wig's off scene.
The tornado scene.
The scene with the racoon when she learns she has beaten the cancer.
So many gems.

She won an Emmy at some point for her role, didn’t win any Golden Globes for this but got one for Transamerica. After the first 3 seasons, the awards buzz for the show died out unfortunately.
