Loved the new episode!!

I don't get why Jake is back with Papa Pope though? Am I forgetting something? And Olivia having contact with him, I can't remember why exactly she's in contact with him again.

Another terrific episode tonight! Olivia and Mellie as gal pals is overwhelmingly awesome! They're so much better when they're free from Fitz.

Love Liv and Mellie together. Both were amazing in the last episode. Any episode centred around Mellie is amazing, she's
Such a great actress.

Cyrus is still the cut-throat political animal he's always been. Nice to know that hasn't changed.

Tonight's episode was just okay by Scandal's high standards, though.

This has been a mess lately.
The Jake & Papa Pope crap is so old now. There are enough storylines being thrown around on the show already, they don't need this crap. And how is Jake just OK with Eli? He wanted to kill him last season
They should concentrate more on the presidential campaigns, they're actually interesting.

After starting House Of Cards over the last few weeks, this just pales in comparison.

I need Olivia Pope in my life. I need her to yell at me and spit at my face telling me how pitiful I am when I'm down only to empower me and send me to cloud 9 after a minute so that I act like a boss. Anyhoo I think she's really changed my life, like when I'm in situations I think to myself "what would Olivia Pope do?" Am I ok doctor? *Huck look* :o

The last episode :o Olivia killing that white trash :o And her face when telling Abbey Don't. Cross.Me.Again. One of the best scenes of the entire show.

Season finale was kinda non event :-?

Nothing major happened, no twists, no cliffhangers...

And Season 6 won't air until 2017....

This!!! Didn't even realise it was the finale!

The pushback is to accommodate Kerry's pregnancy.

So I watched the Entire 5 seasons in the past month or so!

Great show. I definitely see the comparisons between this and How To Get Away With Murder. Personally I prefer HTGAWM and I also think Annalise is a better leading lady than Olivia (Although both are amazing).

A few things I need to mention.

Thank god they killed off James. He was terrible and genuinely the only thing that I hated about the show. Was so glad when he got shot!

The tension and Chemistry between Fitz and Olivia in the first few seasons was intense and really believable :o Then it kind of got boring. So it's good now that Olivia has turned a bit evil so it gives them time to stop dragging it out, but eventually it would be good if they got back and lived happily ever after in Vermont rather than "standing in the sun" with Jake

The First lady and Olivia are the highlights of the show. Both amazing in their own ways.

Do we know how many more seasons there will be?

Come back Olivia!!!!
It's been weird not having new episodes so far this season. Not sure when it comes back but I think it's in the next couple of months!

It was supposed to return January 19, but I read somewhere that some Trump-related telecast is pushing all of Shonda Rhimes's shows back to January 26.

Oh that's sooner than I thought still! :D
I hope it's an improvement on last season, which was pretty bad for the most part. Hopefully the shorter episode run will help trim the fat!
I need president Mellie!!!!!

Bit of a tame season premiere. The mystery was well and truly transparent. Let's see how the rest of the season unfolds.

I actually enjoyed this more than the HTGAWM premiere. I rejuvenated my interest.

Decent episode this week! Humanising Cyrus is no small task, but the writers did a great job with that last scene.
