Isn't it in line with an iPhone? For the same storage, what does an iPhone sell for?hugo wrote:I don't understand why the Galaxy Alpha is so **** expensive (~700€) ??? It certainly looks good, but it's not worth that price.

Alpha is often these days sold for less than Galaxy S5 , iPhone 5C, ... Its price is now decreased to compete with Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.hugo wrote:I don't understand why the Galaxy Alpha is so **** expensive (~700€) ??? It certainly looks good, but it's not worth that price.
Samsung may soon launch a new, entry-level J1 smartphone, according to details obtained by tech site SamMobile.
The Samsung SM-J100 is reportedly slated to feature a 4.3-inch 480x800-pixel display and a 5-megapixel camera. Low end by today's standards, the handset could also feature 1GB RAM with 4GB of internal storage.
Diverging from most Samsung smartphones, the J1 is said to run a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core processor from Marvell. Rounding things out, we might be on the lookout for a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and an 1,850mAh battery.

S5 was quite good minus its crappy waterproof flap that was a design failure. But s5 mini was beyond crap. Slow, battery hungry and explicitly underperforming.jpguy wrote:I can not wait to see the Galaxy s6 and mini versions in metallic case!
When haven't they?jpguy wrote:Well then Samsung is channeling iPhone
You're sold even with horrendous TouchWiz? That alone keeps me away from Samsung, even though I bought their first Bada phone - Wave, when it came out.oaknuys wrote:The S6 series are just amazing and flawless in every aspect... Except for the fact that it lacks the water protection
Such loss of feature made a bad dilemma for me to buy it or not at this point
