What Head/Earphones Do You Use?

Postby Shorty » Tue Sep 07, 2010 1:12 am

I seriously cannot for the life of me get a decent pair of earphones. EVERY single pair I've tried constantly fall out of my ears. My ears are just not made for them, it's so infuriating.

Right now I'm using my iPod earphones. I don't understand why people say they break easily, cos I've had these ones for FOUR years and they're still in great shape! And they still sound good too.

I hate it when I'm walking and every 30 seconds a earphone falls out

Apple iPod headphones, my last one just died on me so ive been searching for new ones and they don't even sell the normal ones anymore they only do them with a remote & microphone in them. I don't want that I just want a set of standard headphones.

I treated myself to a pair of these last week. The price was a bit steep at £130 but the sound quality is absolutely amazing. I must admit they're not the most comfortable earphones I've ever worn though - perhaps because I'm just not used to these in-ear phones yet, but I have read that it takes a little while to wear them in for some people.

I've never used a pair of earphones with such precision in sound though - so that alone makes the purchase worthwhile I guess. I'm gonna start re-ripping all of my albums into iTunes at a higher bitrate to get the very most out of them.

Shure SE535. I've had them for about three weeks, best earphones I've ever owned.

Apple iPhone headphones! I really want some Dr Dre Beats but they're ridiculously expensive and everyone has them now anyway. I think even if I won a pair I'd probably just sell them

Here in Greece are even more expensive (at least 100 euros more than UK) and nobody I've seen in the street owns them!

I have these babies...

I used to only use them for DJ'ing, but since I stopped, I now use it for everyday use on my computer and MY GOD... the sound quality is amazing! Gotta have HQ music on your computer, other stuff just doesn't compare. Because they are also noise-cancelling for DJ'ing, I can't hear my housemates calling out to me if I'm listening to music on them

I use Skull Candy Earphones. And it's great using it. 8-) 8-)

It's been 3 years since I commented on this one. :o

Anyways, I am now using Beats Studio 2.0 at home while I use my Apple earpod when going out.

You can find some great deals on even the top models of headphones on ebay and on craigs list. The type of person who pays top dollar for a great iPhone Bluetooth headphones set is also the type of person who is very likely to take very good care of their electronics. These audiophiles are very careful when they purchase and store their digital goodies, so if you can find what you are looking for in a used condition, you can save up to 50% off of retail and still get the high end audio quality that you want.

Lol I've got these now, they are pretty decent in durability and sound, although I've gone through a few pairs! I'm not a headphone user and am not usually a fan of in-ear ones either! It's difficult to find any real decent earphones that don't stop working after a few months at most... :-? I hope these new ones (above) last longer, they look nifty. :P

yes! I have 3 tbh  I always keep one in my pocket, the other one at work in case I forgot my main one, because I wouldn't function without music or podcasts in the morning and the third I keep at home in case I lost one of them
