It's actually a co-credit not a featuring. Though the original version is by CNCO alone.

I wondered about that - two of the three members charting it went with "featuring", so I did too !

With one point from you, and nothing from anyone else now, "Boys" has dropped from 09 to 145 ! I'm starting to rather like it - if there is a physical release, I think I'll be including it as a new breaker later this week . . . . .

It's been breaking records for the longest time ever at number one in some European charts - and for a while yesterday it looked possible that it might make UKmixParade history by becoming the first track to be in the top 80 with only three points ! But four others overtook it in the evening, so it ending up missing out by just a few places :

The setg1 top five has a new number one, as the new Foo Fighters single debuts at the top. It manages to hold off "Havana" which is having a slight resurgence. Otherwise, the songs are in a familiar order.

This week's dropout is a significant one. It has gone up and down the chart for months, outlasting many songs that initially eclipsed it, but finally leaves after three consecutive weeks at #5. Letters to Cleo's "4 Leaf Clover" managed to smash almost all records in its 23-week run, scoring a total of 73 points. It "only" spent four weeks at #1 (the record being five) but also spent seven weeks at #2, behind six different songs. Its performance is likely to remain unmatched for at least some time!

1. (-) Foo Fighters: The Sky Is a Neighborhood (1 week at #1)
2. (3.) Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug: Havana
3. (1.) Mando Diao: Shake
4. (2.) Tridashie: Pony Girl
5. (4.) Imagine Dragons: Believer

I suspect this coming week is P!nk vs. T-Swizzle, and my money's on T-Swizzle to pull through with the win.

I don't even think there'll be a battle. Taylor could potentially get double the number of points as P!nk by tomorrow night.

Thanks again for the comments this week ! :D

Tonight, I think we can expect major rebounds for French Montana, Lorde and Katy Perry - and although there may not be any new entries in the top twenty, we should find at least one re-entry there. But what will be happening right at the top of the new chart ?

JSparksFan wrote:I suspect this coming week is P!nk vs. T-Swizzle, and my money's on T-Swizzle to pull through with the win.
Well, it definitely looks as if "What About Us" and "Look What You Made Me Do" will indeed be the top two this week . . . . .

JakeP wrote:I don't even think there'll be a battle. Taylor could potentially get double the number of points as P!nk by tomorrow night.
. . . . . but that may be optimistic. Pink has already increased her score to 40 points at this stage, which would often be sufficient to be fairly certain of being number one. However, Taylor Swift isn't too far behind - and could possibly gain enough extra points in the remaining thirteen hours and forty minutes to overtake . . . . .

Time up

From the file marked "things nobody ever expected to read in the UKmixParade thread", in twenty minutes from now, Gary Numan will make UKmixParade history ! ( But how . . . . . ? ) And, during this evening, Pink lost two points while Taylor Swift gained ten - but will that make all the difference to their final ranking ?

.

So, for the first time ever, only seventy-eight hits score four points or more - and three points is enough to enable others to take positions 79 and 80 . . . . .

Week 420

This week's UKmixParade combines the personal charts of exactly the same forty-six forum members as last week's. Thirty-six top fives have been updated in the past seven days, twenty-six of them have a number one that doesn't appear at all in any of the others, and 690 points are shared among 171 different tracks. Everybody has at least two of their top five in the overall top eighty this time - and the entire top fives of ConstantinosV, JakeP and Mainshow are somewhere here.

The most impressive of five re-entries is close to the top ten for Rita Ora - and so are big climbers from Katy Perry and Lorde. Meanwhile, four tracks are in the top ten that weren't there last week - Justin Bieber and Bloodpop have the highest of twenty brand new entries, Rachel Platten and Shawn Mendes rise to new peaks there, and Taylor Swift races up to battle against Pink to become this week's forum favourite. But is it "Look What You Made Me Do" or "What About Us" that ended up with five points more than the other ?

It finally happened. And It All Began To Finish With Gary Numan.
Maybe you should extend the votes to people's top tens if you need to boost the overall amount of songs.

Apologies - numbers 06 to 15 and 40 to 80 are now amended above to properly reflect your new number one (which had too similar a title to the previous one that I somehow didn't notice the change ! )

After this correction, Amanda featuring Sido now share his achievement. If only someone else had had a new number one or number two that already had enough points elsewhere to appear, Blanche would have been back in too with three points from me . . . . .

However, I suspect that this will be a one-off - it has happened largely because the overall top five are all currently so popular that they have taken a much increased share of the total points available. Last week's top five had a total of 121 points between them . . . . . this week's have 151 ! :o

The Foo Fighters spend a second week atop the setg1 top five. At #2, we have a new entry from a familiar band. Bastille had two #1 hits ("Good Grief" making it to #6 in the year-end chart) and one #2 last year, but hadn't made another appearance until now. Their new Green Day cover didn't impress me on first listen, but after hearing it a few times, it makes a nice debut in an otherwise quiet week. Camila Cabello has another good week, beating cartoon ponies and Swedish rockers to #3.

This week's dropout is "Believer" by Imagine Dragons. In a year with fairly few long-running hits, it had a solid run of eight weeks in the top five, including one at #1. And let's end this week's rundown with some completely random trivia: Imagine Dragons now have the most successful song called "Believer". Major Lazer and Showtek charted with a similarly-titled song last October, spending three weeks in the top five and peaking at #2.

1. (1.) Foo Fighters: The Sky Is a Neighborhood (2 weeks at #1)
2. (-) Bastille: Basket Case
3. (2.) Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug: Havana
4. (4.) Tridashie: Pony Girl
5. (3.) Mando Diao: Shake

Thanks again for the comments this week ! :D

Looking ahead to tonight, there are plenty of new top fives already in, but no sign yet of any new entries or re-entries appearing in more than one of them ! However, there could be a big rebound for Selena Gomez, and major moves for Camila Cabello and the Foo Fighters. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift seems so far ahead of all challengers that she is very, very unlikely to be replaced as the forum favourite this week - but there are still thirteen hours and fifty minutes left for further new and updated personal charts to make an impact on the rest of the positions . . . . .
