Yeah, Reflection is a quite solid album, but I bet the group will split after Album 2  Teens are here for boy-band/groups.
Finally it seems like i get into the album as well
Agree about Fifth Harmony, but i wouldn't care if they slip to be honest

Great re-entry for Madonna's latest album. It's a shame that she released a good album like this, but flops like never before.
Also good appearances for Conchita and Carly :)

Great debuts for Selena and Demi this week. Both released two great tracks as their leads, so i'm really excited for both albums now :)

I also like the entries by 1D and Fifth Harmony this week. "Top Down" seems to be their next single, i hope it does well :)

The Weeknd's album is great, glad it made a pretty good entry on your charts.
Also nice entry for Kelly's underrated "Piece By Piece". I thinkt he first half of the album is very strong!

Not big fan of both gurls, but yeah, their current leads are extremely good :) I'll give a listen to Confident and Revival for sure.
Drag Me Down is a very solid pop tune, but nothing I could die for  It still sounds like a great 1D song though
Top Down is the only potential hit left on the album IMO. It's catchy as fukc, but some parts sound like a FutureSex/LoveSound (song) rip-off, especially the beginning.

I knew you're usually not into these 'teenie' acts that's why i'm really happy to see the success of both, as i usually like these teen acts
What do you think about "This Is How We Roll"? I think it would be a good single as well, even if it's similar to "Scream & Shout" :)

...

Even better to see Selena above Demi this week 8-)
Good debut for Nick Jonas new single, even if it's not as strong as "Jealous" and "Chains" IMO.

Hmmm, let's say I'm not a big fan of current teen pop stars  Still adore those with whom I was growing up :) Maybe I'm getting old or just my musical taste has changed, but I only like few songs from Selena and Demi. I find their discography quite weak tbh. No big jams a'la Brit, Rihanna, Katy ect. I'd say they are more local than ww
Yeah, like this one as well, but it would flop mainly because it sounds like S&S IMO :P But they can try and release it as a final single from the album
Levels has finally grown on me, but I still think it's worse than most songs on NJ album. It's an ok song.

You're right, their discographies are actually nothing compared to someone like Britney and Rihanna. But i never thought they would be as successful as they are now... i thought Selena, Miley & Co. would be over by the time their disney series were over, but they were even more successful afterwards.

I hope they try it 8-)
Agree, it's not as good as some stuff from his debut (or second, but i don't count the other album)...

Great entries for The Weeknd and Taylor this week. Two good songs :)
Also good to see Years & Years still dominating your album charts, and great entry for the underrated "MDNA" :)

They are quite successful, cause only Taylor is their only nightmare. Rihanna doesn't care, Britney is done ect.
I think they will rerelease Reflection quite soon, so there won't be more singles from the original version of the album tbh
Y&Y are monsters on album chart - dominating just like Loic did weeks ago  I would not call MDNA an underrated album tbh. It's ok, but only few tracks I really like. The rest is quite messy. But overall is a bit better than Hard Candy. Rebel is her best work since Confessions, good old Madonna.

You're right. But i still think they're not really global stars...
Oh you think they will re-release it? I think a new album would make more sense now.
Well deserved for Years & Years and i agree about Madonna :)

Nice entries for Louane and Ellie Goulding on the singles charts. Ellie's song is nice, but not as strong as i expected, while Louane's whole album is 'just nice' for me... "Avenir" is my favorite song of the whole album, so i'm glad to see this so high on your charts :)
Also great entries for Lana's "Honeymoon" & "Born To Die" on the album charts :D

If their label is greedy, they will re-release Reflections to milk the era until the cow is empty
Communion is defo my fave/most successful album released this year so far, but this week #1 says "Bye" :P
@Louane - Noticed her domination on Frenach album chart, so I decided to give it a listen (same happened with Kendji Girac's debut album) since I do like listening to French music. I'm a bit disappointed, cause only first half of the album is really good. The rest is a boredom tbh.
On My Mind is ok, but she's becoming a generic act now, I guess :-? Halcyon was a turn into pop music, but had great quality. Maybe her label thinks she could be another Taylor - from country to pop mega monster star.
I have always liked Lana, but UV was a very big disappointment...Thankfully, Honeymoon brought her back onto my life and charts

That's true. We'll see. I think releasing a new album would be a better way to milk the cow. But they should release it as soon as possible, as "Worth It" is over now and that other single ("Im In Love With A Monster" or how it's called) is flopping.

Yeah, i noticed her domination too. She's also doing very good over here in Switzerland, and it seems like she gets a hit in Germany too. Looks like she'll be this years Indila. I agree about the boredom :)

Well, as long as she's getting more and more success, she'll go more and more generic. I still have some hope for the album, i hope there'll be some gems, as i absolutely adore "Halcyon".
Glad to hear that about Lana :)

...

I heard about Darin some years ago, but never really cared for his music. But if i've got some time this weekend, i try to check out some of his new songs, as i really like the album cover :)

Good to see "The Hills" and "On My Mind" getting new peaks, and great entries for Lana :)

The first song I heard was Insanity (first international single and quite successful in Germany) back in 2006 and I've been a big fan of his music since that time :) Speaking of Fjärilar i magen, I highly recomend you uptempo tunes (Lagom, Juliet, Fojla John and Kim med mig) + last 2 magnificent, haunting tracks :)

Oh yes, "Insanity" is the title! That's also the first song i've heard from him! :) And i remember he was very good-looking   I'll check these out - still haven't got the time yet unfortunately, but it's on my list

Love Lana's big climb this week. HBTB is one of the best songs this year, even better than the UV-singles IMO. Also loving the entry for the follow-up "Music To Watch Boys To".

Apart from Darin's album (which i haven't heard), you've got a strong Album Top4. Lana's album remains fantastic, and Janet's & Hurts' albums are really good, too :)
The best part is probably Selena's entry though. I'm glad you checked it out, but i'm not that surprised to see it barely in the Top10. But an entry is better than none :)

Yeah, gave it a listen and sadly I find most of the album quite bland tbh. I expected something better, but there are also few nice tracks I like to listen
Hmm, Darin is not a twink anymore, but I think he still has that charm :P  He has a very friendly look and incredible smile IMO

I'm surprised to see these two songs entering the charts at #1 and #2. Both songs are good, catchy and nice, but too generic for the artists IMO. Both had much better songs in their previous albums...

But i like to see the entries by "Rolling Stone" and "Weight Of The World" for Hurts, both two of the better songs of "Surrender". Also great entry for "Burnitup" by Janet and Missy Elliott :)

Yes! I love this Hurts domination! Their latest record is surprisingly amazingly stunning! There's no bad track on it! Great to see Darin, Ellie, Lana, Kendji, The Weeknd & Bryan Adams on your chart, too. Damn, apart from some tracks by Selena and Demi which are truly deeply missed, your charts are perfect!

I agree, both are generic and very safe, but incredibly catchy :) Love from the first listen

Thank You! :)
Hell yeah! Hurts delivered amazing pop oriented album. I knew it would be good, but didn't expect such a great effort tbh :D
Had no idea Bryan has new album out. Seen some banner somewhere, so decided to give it a listen and I must confess I was a bit shocked. Such an enjoyable record. Pity it lasts less than 30 min (excluding accoustic versions).
For me, Kendji is the biggest surprise this year. Heard Andalouse for the first time in April and I completely fell in love with the song and then with the album. Can't wait to hear Ensemble (2nd album) out Oct 30! :D
