the Sufjan album was a slow burner for me. At first listen I didn't really care but the more I listened the more I liked it. I bought a copy yesterday, when I initially doubted I was going to buy it, but it got so much better on multiple listens.

Loving Susanne, Marina, Sufjan, Madonna and Norah's albums! :D
I'm not a big Norah Jones fan (although some albums of hers are enjoyable), but Little Broken Hearts is absolutely her best. I think she stepped up her game with that album. What are your faves from the album? Mine are Say Goodbye, She's 22 and Miriam :)

Oh, and the #6...

Yess LBH is her best album! She's 22, Miriam, 4 Broken Hearts and Out on the Road are my faves, but the whole album is like a journey, gives me "driving in a vast american desert" vibes lol

Click on the Kimbra cover, you might like it, the album is rnb-ish and funky and I first found it dull as f, but recently it's grown on me soo much

And yeah that #6........thats life.... :( (but it really has some bops)

Thanks for the advice, I'll check it out and let you know! (even though you blatantly shaded my Angus & Julia Stone suggestion :P )

Nice to see Ciara so high on your chart :D Which are your favourite songs from the record?
Also, I'm glad you liked Mr Little Jeans' album, apparently. It's a good one :D
Gonna listen to Foreverly as soon as I finish my exam this week.

Need to listen to that Lissie one.

Amy Studt & Alanis >>>>

False Smiles is actually a really solid pop album. I actually want her to do another more straight forward pop album like this again someday but I can't see it happening as she's far too miserable these days.

I mostly listen to Misfit tho  the rest is a bit too teeny for me. but yes, I agree, it's pretty decent considering her age and all. but I'd never want it from her again

Love Dido, Ciara, Alanis and Charli! :D SFIJ is my favourite Alanis album, it's so poetic.

I will check Kimbra as soon as I finish with my last exam of the horrific summer session this week.

Misfit is one of the most teeny on there though. I love the ballads, Nobody is great

Ladder In My Tights, Seconds Away, Happy Now, Carry Me Away...give these another listen at least.
