I've been toying with this idea for some weeks now. I run a little blog called Too Much Music and as a result I discover a lot of amazing new music. Scotland has a history for producing some fantastic bands and singer/songwriters.
Over the last few years a new wave of artists have been breaking through. I hope to use this thread as a way of sharing with you some of the best new music Scotland has to offer.
Stay tuned. First artist coming later today.

He is a fantastic guitarist!
I love his voice but that is maybe because we are both from Glasgow
Three and a half years on from rustling out of Ayrshire, Scotland with his eclectic and unique take on how to write a good pop song - Andrew Nicol of Black and White Boy finds himself in the laborious situation where after half a dozen baby steps into the mainstream - the curtain has beckoned and the lights are finally sauntering over him.
Growing up on a plethora of records from timeless acts such as Crowded House, Ryan Adams and more recently Band Of Horses, it should come as no surprise that there is a moody elegance to be found from within the bench press of Black and White Boy's music.
Black and White Boy have released two albums, Fragile (2013) and The Avenue (2015).
Have a listen to the EP and let me know what you think
My fav is Spiderhands, I can give EP an 8 out of 10
Glad you liked it man! He has a couple of new tracks on his YouTube page. They are called 'Haunt', 'Inside This Wreck' and my favourite 'Satellites and Meteorites'. I believe a new EP is being worked on too.
